Best Song You've Ever Heard

What's your favorite song? For me, it changes often. Right now it's Still Alive. Recently, I've been listening to the song from the World's Hardest Game.
Also moved to tv/music/movies.

The best song I've heard probably is "Living Colour - Cult of Personality". I've known this song for years now and I sometimes listen to it when I feel demotivated, to get in the mood again.
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)
This holds first place for me, especially at 1:30 - that part's like sex on bacon with toast. <3

Although this, by the same band, would probably come very, very close to tying with it. One thing's for sure, they're both really awesome.
Good Company - Queen

Why is this the greatest song of all time? Listen to the song, take note of all the wind instruments you hear, then realize that every one of those is Brian May's guitar. He is a God.
Hymn to the fallen.
I'm a big war movie fan and when I heard this it made me sorta...cry.
I was trying to convert a midi I found to use in smw but it was to big.
How to Save a Life by The Fray is amazingly awesome. Another great song is Out and Dreaming by v. Spy v. Spy which is incredibly underrated, so much so that there isn't a YouTube video of it.

Requiem for a Dream is also pretty great. The other two beat it though.
Stream of Consciousness by Dream Theater is a pretty cool song. It doesn't have any parts that I find a little boring or dislike for random reasons. That may be related to the fact that it's an instrumental, I don't know.
Another song I really like is In The Fire from Roadrunner United: The All Star Sessions. It's just awesome. I enjoy everything about it.
A few years ago, Petrified by Fort Minor was my favourite song. I still find it to be pretty damn cool.
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is another one of my favourites. There's nothing about this song that by itself makes the song, it's all-around great.
More epicness in the form of Dream Theater, A Change of Seasons, Octavarium and The Count of Tuscany (I was unable to find a video of the whole song, so you get a link to part 1). All epic songs, considering their length not all parts can be perfect, but altogether just awesome.

Those are some of my favourite songs. There may have been others that I forgot, but that'll do I guess.
May we meet again outside the battlefield.
this will probably change, but for now, my favorite song is either anything by metallica or stylo by gorillaz:

ask me if i give a f*ck...
Video game/electronic music:
Alexander Brandon (Siren) - Snowfall
Seriously, I listened to this song about a million times, but can't be boring for me. I know it more than a year ago, but I still love it.

Rock:
Dream Theater - Metropolis part 1
Probably the first DT song I've ever heard, and seems to be my eternal Dream Theater favorite.

Classical/Orchestra:
The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring - Concerning Hobbits
So joyful and it makes me really happy. Since I love the whole LotR-era, it's not a surprise, but this song is probably my favorite from them.

Obviously I have a lot of other favorites, but these are the all-time classics for me. Damn, I "can't wait" for that nostalgic feel which will come when I listen to these songs 30 years later...
I'm sure this place is full of rap haters (as most game forums are), personally I hate it too except for 1 man, and that is 2pac and he is all I have listened to for the past 4 - 5 years.

Anyway, here is my favorite 2pac song
As for the whole rap hater's thing, I normally hate rap, but there are "VERY" few times when rap actually sounds good. It surprises me when that happens...

but for my most favorite song:

...damn, thats a hard one to answer...

...i would have to say....it would depend on the mood i'm in.

Happy/homicidal: Don't stop me now, by Queen. It's good for when you feel happy. and if done right, can possibly be great for a FPS montages.

Epic-ish feeling: The light that blinds by Shadows fall or M.I.A. by Avenged sevenfold. These are the songs that i would want to listen to if i ever wasted my time watching AMV's, i tried to a long time ago, but they used boring songs with the videos...

Bored feeling:Cold Pizza by m1dy.i randomly found this, and it itself is very random...
My favorites often change, but for now:
Prodigy -Omen
Portal -still alive
DJ Fear & J3 - Beat Conductor
UFO & Breeze - Dirty / uk hardcore / UFOLOGY006 / vinyl
UN Owen Was Her- Full version
Final Fantasy 6 - Devil's Lab
Heavy Breakfast Machine (LoL)
Unlike a lot of people, i don't concentrate on one style of music. I also like rock, but, WTF, i don't have it on youtube in favorites... Can't find it anymore, sorry.

Offtopic: 2pac means something like dumbass in my language.
瞬 - Rozen Maiden: Traumend - It's the song that Megu (The sickly woman in the hospital) always sings in the anime, but with a great track playing in the background along with her singing.

Starry Moonlit Night - Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - I hated the English version because the singing sounded so unpracticed, but the Japanese vocals really made the song sound better; It's now one of my favorite songs.

They might both sound a bit sad, but those are often the best songs.

I don't have a truly favorite song, but rather a couple of songs that I temporarily get obsessed with and sooner or later get completely sick and tired of.

My currently "favorites" would be the biggest hits of this one 70's glam rock band called Sweet, specifically Ballroom Blitz, Teenage Rampage and Blockbuster. I also enjoy listening to pretty much everything by Queen, especially when it comes to songs like Don't Stop Me Now, Bohemian Rhapsody, Under Pressure and Another One Bites The Dust. Also into pretty much everything by Europe, INXS, Guns 'N Roses, Nightwish, and Dire Straits.

...yeah. Not sure if this is the most appropriate response, but whatever.

Okay... Good... A fine so- WAIT JUST A GOSH DARN SECOND!

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance? WHAT? Snowshoe, I expected better from you...

On-topic, lately I've been listening to new country a lot. Come home from school and turn on CMT, you know. But the best song I ever heard? That's a hard decision. I was listening to Centerfield by John Fogerty yesterday, it sounded pretty good.
Half Truism - The Offspring

Nuff said. Next topic!
