Super Mario Lost in Monochrome finally moderated and accepted!

Standard

Hi!
A little presentation:I'm from France,I began hacking 3 month ago...
I love Mario since I'm 7 years old,I'm 25...

I'm working on a hack, and a video is better than explications!
(you've got to not that this is a demo, and that in the actual version, the end of the level is a little bit different, without the "final-cut-off",and some language issues have been corrected!
Note, there is not yoshi in this hack, for several reasons...

Looks fun... These palette edits are very good edits. Mario is the only colorful person in that world, and that is a great idea. I think this may turn out to be a very good hack. The only thing i disliked was jumping between note blocks... Never liked it. All other parts of the level are pretty good.

And, welcome! We are happy to see new people.
honestly it looks pretty alright. level design looks pretty solid and it looks all-around fun.
when most people make a monochrome hack mario sticks out really bad. but here it worked
only things I would have to complain about the mushroom and spiny pallet. you might want to darken it a little.
Fakedit: CreationProblematic, what kind of a post is that? its 2 words that dont mean anything. next time, put actual thought into a post :\
ask me if i give a f*ck...
OK, Hobz, i'll keep it in mind.

*EDITS FIRST POST*
Oh!
I forgot to tell you that I've submited a demo of the hack!
;)
(surely a little still buggie...)
:S

Well, it's probably waiting to be moderated. There are 14 hacks waiting.
Yes,that's it,
It's in moderation.
Hopping not a lot of bugs...
But at the first submission, untill the level 6,there just were 1 cut-off,some language issues problems,2 moons to hard to find, and then, the admin didn't find the clue in the ghost house thinking there was a problem, but that prove that it works!
:D

Could you PM me when it's done moderating, please? #w{=)}
Now you now that's there's no problem,I'll mail you,but I don't know when it will be niiiiiice like we can expect!
Same thing for anybody who want to know!

Yes I know!
But it's now a new submission,"let's wait and see"!
;)

Yes it was meant to happen, but i did the choice of not publishing photos of the others levels,to keep the surprise...
:s

Everest,thanks,that's cool!
;)

Well, I just looked at your screenshots. It doesn't really show off anything other than the palettes. You should include screenshots that actually show gameplay, even if it spoils something.
I assume to say that there's not just palette changes.
Just one exemple:the ground in the video is a self-made exgfx, even if it's simple...
And as you can think, the second level doesn't have the same look that the first, same thing for the others!
;)
BUT I don't want to post more than the video,I hope someones will download, then enjoy it and be surprised!

(And I began to work since yesterday on the WORLD 2...)
(Now,there's 12 levels, upcoming some news one of these days!)

Hi!
I've submitted a version of the hack,the 2.2 version,but there was a big bug...
So,I worked on the 2.3 version, which is fixed!
And I can tell that cause I finished the demo without problem!
Sorry for people who downloaded the 2.2 version...
Also,there's some changes,like palette changes...

See ya!

On Koopa's Symphonie, you had leftovers of Vannila Dome 1, get rid of then because people will get suspicous of the orignal.
I see what you mean, but there's so little and I think the two levels can't be compared for a lot of things...
Judging by this would not be fair...
:D

Yea but people get bored of playing the same level sgain (it's not much though so meh).
Yes,that's true.
The level isn't the same,the "walking part"must take 5 %of the level...
I can change this part, that's true, but it will be more a waste of time, but i'll do it,because this level, even if it's not at all vanilla dome,(where have you seen jumping block notes on vanilla dome?!?),is the only where there's a leftover...

I didn't understood Everest,sorry,so I re-edited the post!

I never said it wasn't original it's good. End of.
