Patches don't seem to work

I used to have trouble using patches, but XkasGUI works fine most of the time. However, patches such as Luigi ExGFX, LuigiPHYSX, and walljump 2.0 don't seem to work. If anyone would like to insert it for me, here is my patch:

Click it! You know you want to.

(I don't know if this matters, but it was made with a rom named Super Mario World.smc, and has not been expanded. I've had problems before with this when people tried to help me before.)

Well, obviously, no one cared about that.

I was aslso wondering, when GUI sets the freespace, does it matter if a value is entered already? Does it pick it up if the freespace is full of x's? If a value is already entered, I would think that there would be no point in a freespace button.

Freespace button? sorry, but that never existed, just Freespace Slogger. There are some patches that needs freespace to be set, and maybe the problem was that. Also, the Luigi ExGFX fails to me too.

Xkas GUI does have a freespace button. And it works fine most of the time at that.

To answer your questions, no, it doesn't matter if a value has already been given, and yes, it'll pick it up if it's full of x's.

And before anyone gets any ideas, yes, it works with multiple freespaces.

Although, I would recommend trying out slogger if you can't get it to work, as there have been reports of the freespace function failing.

The only problem I've had with the find freespace button is that it just overwrites everywhere that says org, so it overwrites all my hijacks as well as freespace. Kinda weird, bu I assume it's just me since that would really be a major problem which would keep it from being released I would think. Anyways, I know for a fact Xkas GUI isn't the problem, since I used Xkas GUI (the old one at that) to test Walljump 2.0, so that's not the problem. More than likely it's a freespace problem. I know walljump 2.0 has freespace set at about 138000 I believe, which is too high in a non expanded ROM, so it will crash your game. Honestly, that's most likely the problem you are hitting.

overwrites anywhere it sees org

Strange, it's only supposed to find space for orgs over 9000!!! $108000...

/me adds it to the bug list
