exgfx problems

so I watched a tutorial for exgfx, and tried it out. I followed it step by step and i'm pretty sure I did everything right. but when I inserted the map 16 page, it overwrote the standard tiles. this was the tutorial I used. If he did that when the standard tiles were overwritten, he would be saving the problem.

Do the normal tiles look glitchy, or are they really replaced by the new Map16? If the former, don't worry about it. If the latter, did you follow the tutorial exactly, and do the new tiles look right? Also, what ExGFX is it?

is it lm 1.70?

If you load an ExGFX file in Super GFX Bypass it will obviously replace the SMW tileset for that level unless you turn Super GFX Bypass off or load it's regular GFX file. (Turning it back to normal) It's fine, you just have to use MAP16 to make your landmasses.

Is map16page and map16pageG in the same folder as your rom?
Great, now it dosn't have the gfx with it. I inserted exgfx
