Hotel Mario
One screen level made out of 4x4 (or any other number) doors. Entering a door will lead to the same screen, but with that particular door removed. Once there is no door on the screen anymore, the player can exit the level.
Anybody can calculate how many levels/screens this'd need to work?

4*4=16
16!=20922789888000 levels (n! is factorial function)
Not possible within Mario World engine which has 512 rooms. You could do that with ASM, like it was made in VIP3 where before we will battle final boss you have to beat eight mini-bosses. Each of them is in different room. After you beat one mini-boss door disappars. After you beat all doors additional door appear leading to final boss. Reminds me Mega Man by the way.
EDIT: RANK UP!
