Considering the fact that Raocow's gonna do these, it's probably gonna get done whether or not you do it...

Unless he does that top-ten bottom-ten thing, of course.
Good fucking bye.

I personally would really like it if you did that, Ultimaximus. That's cool of you to offer.

My life has not involved SMW hacking for the past several months...I still love you guys though!

Once the results are posted I'm going to put together a zip for raocow with all the ips patches numbered by how they placed like SNN did for the choco contest. If anyone else is interested, I can let you all have it too. But if someone else wants to do it ahead of me and just throw them all in one zip go right ahead.
I don't believe SNN arranged them by how they placed.

(If I could find a download....)
If anyone is interested, 38 didn't work for me either...

I am beginning my compilation. I am taking care to download the latest version from the member's last post in that thread. However, this won't include those updates that were sent in after the thread closed. I'll be looking in this thread for updates, but if any were simply PM'd or something, then I'll need to be advised to that fact.

EDIT: Senjan's last post does not contain the same version as the one in the main post, which appears to be a later version. I am using the later version in the main post.

EDIT: jallerman is misspelled as jailerman in the main post.

EDIT: Toad8642 still has a downloadable IPS, but apparently requested removal from the contest. I will not include his IPS in the zip file.

EDIT: x-treme's last post does not contain the same version as the one in the main post, which appears to be a later version, aptly named GODDAMNITWORK.ips. I am using the later version in the main post.

EDIT: BloodyToothBrush does not have a downloadable IPS, and apparently requested removal from the contest.

EDIT: TheGamer's last post does not contain the same version as the one in the main post, which appears to be a later version. I am using the later version in the main post.

EDIT: jesus' last post does not contain the same version as the one in the main post, which appears to be a later version. I am using the later version in the main post.

And yeah, I've been crazy busy, so I haven't had time to upload or make anything new. I'll probably manage something this weekend hopefully.

Just to be sure, the next hack I'm playing is #70? I don't want to miss anyone.

you know it really wasn't 'Impossible' hard. People here at smwc are used to hacks that have been WAY watered down. Before this site, 99% of the hacks out there were about this difficulty or worse.

'Sides, most of the obstacles you had troubble with could have just been done by being less careful (mario can run across all those flying question block gaps without even jumping)! Durring the final testing stages, I didn't use a single savestate (normally I would have used 1 or 2, but i chose not to solely out of principle).

Its important to understand what I was trying to do with this entry- the point of this level is to show people the distinct difference between a "hard level" and a "kaizo level". All of the obstacles I used were totally fair, the difficulty curve, although steep, was smooth and ramped appropriately, and the level design overall was creative. This level was not made for novice players- it was made for hardened vetrans. I'm just trying to remove the stigma that this site hold against difficulty. I doubt it will work- I'll probably score lower than I deserve- but if I can open even a few eyes, then I say mission sucessful.

(sorry to derail the thread, I just had to put that out there)

I'll respond to this with a short message, but if we want to talk about it in detail, I'd more than like to. It certainly was everything you described. Thing is, as I state a lot in earlier videos, I'm kind of really bad at Super Mario World. I'm not even going to attempt Kaizo because I wouldn't make it past the first jump. But I think you succeeded in what you were going for.

Haha, did he even say he was going to play any of them with 100% certainty? I kind of thought everybody else wanted him to, but he never said he himself would. I could be remembering incorrectly.

PS If anybody has any comments about my level (Twilit Hills, it is near the bottom) I'd be glad to hear them while they will probably be in a location I can notice (this thread is very large)

Yes, I heard it from him in gmail ( I don't know if he said it publickly though :\ )
Er... Triple Q's entry was a submission to the Hacks section, which got removed. I'd PM him, but he's been inactive since the 4th. Does anyone have his patch? Or the hack mod who removed it?

EDIT: I have every available entrant, but am missing Triple Q's.

Here you go Ulti:

Triple Q's entry

Lucky to still have it, I usually delete them after I play them.

Actually, the one i put here and the one in the Submissions Thread are both the same, is that FirePhoenix replaced in the other Thread as V2 and i put V1.1, but just to make sure, here is the ips file to the current entry, so you can check if it is the same as the one you have.
Vanilla Rain, Endless Raindrop V1.1

Considering I remember conversation between him and myself about how yes I would be able to get him an archive with all the patches listed by ranking order, I'd say he has plans to play them.

Hash check shows that I already had it, but I greatly thank your concern and efforts.

Got it, thanks.

Pseudo-edit: whoa whoa, a quick count and check shows I'm missing Z. Raffle tikt's entry. I got it now.

I also was missing Patgangster's, whom seems to have a more updated version in the main list which I'll be using.

I have the entire zip, I'm just looking into gathering the old entrants... I'll make a thread.

You can download it and give him a separate download organized by rank.

If I'd only do 'some', I'd feel guilty about the people being left out, so honestly, it's either all of them or none of them.

Well... All I can say is... Have fun I suppose... You're going to be here a while (or not at all if you choose the other route).
I'd say all of them. But, 140, that's a lot of levels...
Have fun.
i just lurk sometimes
I have about 40-50 left to judge. I'm going to do my best to finish these by the original April 1st deadline we had planned, but work is going to be pretty rough in the next couple of days.

Looks like I'll need some hefty coffee!

I know how you feel, although a top# deal would probably have been acceptable too.

What order do you plan to do them in, anyways?
