Posting walls of text: How do you feel?

Yeah.

Walls of text.

The crap I mostly type. The long stories many other share with us, in expectance that we read.

Sometimes we do, but really guys...TL/DR isn't just an abbreviation. I should talk...I write towers of text.

But, the question:

How do you feel about reading paragraphs of forum posts?

Do you get pissed?

Do you actually read them, and grasp an understanding of the poster?

...TL/DR?
Sometimes I skip through them, see what people's reactions are, and if meh isn't among them I take my time reading the block.

Of course, if I ever venture into the cozy little reality corner, I have no choice but to read the walls. There's little else there.
I usually read them, what with the abnormally high reading level that I have (college level reading and interpreting skills, yes they tested me). Really, it takes me less than 2 minutes. Yes, I understand and grasp the point that gets across, although sometimes it does get a bit annoying in some cases, when I want to leave, but I want to keep reading. Eh, it's like a story book, and I'm pulled in.
[insert long piece of text]

Yeh I generally read that sorta thing, it it isn't full of the word lol, I quite enjoy reading a well written post and often find myself spending too much time writing my own.

Disarray! Procrastination, my one true foe.
Your layout has been removed.
Depends, though I usually read them. If I'm not interested for whatever reason, I skim it. I don't depend on tl:dr's though, if I didn't read it, I didn't read it.

Speaking of which, I find it insulting when the Reality Corner is referred to as a bunch of walls of sob stories.

I was referring to the fact nobody makes short posts there. If they do, they didn't think enough. I meant no negativity towards the long posts.
Oh, another thing, though I'm fine with reading walls, a few line breaks can make a world of a difference.

I read through the whole thing 99% of the time.
What bugs me about them though, is when you write a big wall of text, and some guy comes along and responds with one line.

Also line breaks/separating them into paragraphs are nice to include.
I absolutely, positively HATE it when people don't throw in a few line breaks! It's frustrating for somebody with as bad as vision as I do to read through something such as a wall of text. Jesus, some people...
Good fucking bye.
Depends on how long and intersting it is.

If it's not interesting I don't read unless it's not that long.

If it's interesting I read it, or if it's too long and I get borres I stop at the middle.
I'm okay with walls of text, I mean, I post them myself sometimes. Just as long as there are line breaks, separating these "walls" into "paragraphs," I'm alright.

There's nothing worse than a wall of text ranting/rambling about any given subject(especially ASM).
It doesn't really matter all that much to me, as I generally read most of it, if not the highlights. It all depends on the section really. In reality corner I'm half expecting a wall of text to fully explain the scenario or the situation. As for places like here or in Basic SMW Hacking than the extreme wall of text is a bit too much.

On my side, I do take time to read whatever post a person has to type. I break up parts using quotes, and I respond to each piece quoted to make it easy to read.

You also need to have a balance of line breaks. Enough to prove a point, but not where it's after every sentence.

Brevity works in these situations, but still. If you gotta get a point across, do it how you need to, even if it takes a lot of text.

RC may seem like a despair pit, but in the end, there tends to be the case where a person climbs out of it, and sees sunshine among ruins.
I'm not a big fan of walls of text. I always resume what i write, so i only write the IMPORTANT stuff, and the rest is bleh.
But i don't care if someone posts a wall of text.
Exception: Hach screenshots. I usually post a lot of screenshots.
i just lurk sometimes

I must agree with... ^ This.

Meh, I don't really mind reading through giant walls of text. It really depends on how interesting it is and how much time I have. Eventually my eyes start to burn from looking at the same color for a long time, so sometimes I just stop reading.

I know where your coming from.

How about posts where layouts are disabled, and you see text like what I just posted?
Those posts freak me out because I think staff nuked the layout, especially if the layout kicked a serious amount of ass.

Personally it depends on the contents of the post. I read the first few sentences. If it doesn't interest me I generally skip it. I also try to skip needlessly long posts which can be put in 2 sentences or so.
My blog. I could post stuff now and then
