AddMusic.ini and .msc Problem

I'm using Romi's addmusic and am following the readme, but I can't get the program to make the addmusic.ini file. I input Addmusic.exe and the the romname.smc and it doesn't make the file. I also tried adding INIT afterward, and it didn't work either.
I inputted:
AddMusic.exe Super Mario World (U) [!].smc LEVEL

Note: The rom its'self isn't clean, I just didn't rename it.

I'm also not getting the MSC file.

EDIT: Ok, now I looked and the ROM file can't have spaces in the name, so I renamed it to EliteBrawlingYoshis.smc. Not it says "Couldn't open ROM file"

Help!
do you want me to give you the ini file? also name the rom something simple like smw, this way you dont need to type it in everytime unless your using batch files, also the msc files are only when the songs have been inserted, will they appear.
I already tried that. The songs didn't insert.

-_- do you have the ini file?
Yes, but I deleted it after it failed to work.

Did you expand the ROM?

did you enter in the ini file properly?
Yes, I entered it properly. I had to download it, a it wouldn't create the file.
well, what happens when you try to insert?
Try it without the LEVEL part. That works fine for me, at least...

you dont need to type level

To give the actually correct information, you only don't have to type LEVEL or OW if you're inserting all music. Typing LEVEL makes it only insert the music in the LEVEL folder.

...Have you inserted any patches into the ROM?

That's what I'm trying to do, but it says it's an Invalid option AND that it can't open the ROM
NO patches were used on the ROM.
just because this popped into my head, send someone the ips file of the rom and see if they can insert it, i can try too, i know it seems stupid but im out of ideas

Well, if you're going to do it for him, shouldn't you ask what music he wants?

the idea wasnt to do it for him, but to see if its his rom thats not allowing it to insert, his comp not letting it insert, or if he made some mistake thats staring him in the face
It wouldn't make a difference.
Also, here;s the tutorial I used so see if I made any mistakes http://www.smwcentral.net/download.php?id=56&type=tutorials
