Hey, somebody had to create it.
Now, I think I won't do this in quite the same way as the one in Valley Fortress. What I have in mind is something more like...a cross between Superderek's Dark Maze thread, Super Mario RPG, and a Choose Your Own Adventure book. Also, I don't know how often I'll update this...I'll try to do it at least once a day (more, if a lot of people are posting), but we'll see. (I'll be extra busy before the deadline for the vanilla contest.) And, Superderek, if you feel like doing it with me (both of us are narrators, and we alternate, post spontaneously, or decide who gets each post on Skype or something), just ask. Also, expect a few YouTube links on here leading to a variety of video game music for the occasion, and don't be alarmed if I make a few hacking/ASM-related jokes or puns on occasion as well. Just...bear with me. And oh, yeah...three votes for a single action are required to choose one.
Now, let the magic begin!

You stare in amazement at it. The Mondo Ghost Dome...such a mysterious, secluded place, yet...so beautiful. The mountain covered with strange, wonderful life, the gentle mist around the area shining in the twilight, the great tree standing in front of you with the main entrance carved into its mighty trunk...lovely. A song comes to mind. Well, there is only one thing to do...enter that mystical door and see what is inside.
You open the intricately carved door like a character in a fantasy novel, halfway expecting a gnome to pop out of it. You step onto the platform in the middle, and it suddenly falls out from under you. You plummet through the darkness like Mario in the last room of Sunken Ghost Ship, but somehow, you don't feel fear. If the entry to the Mondo Ghost Dome merely sent people falling to their deaths, there wouldn't be much point in it, would there?
Sure enough, after an indeterminate length of time (remember Spy Kids 2: "How long have we been falling?" "I don't know. My watch doesn't tell time!"), your falls begins to slow due to the effects of what you feel surely must be a strong vent of some kind underneath you. At last, you come to a steady stop on top of the vent, which is nearly strong enough to make you rise back off of the floor. You step off the vent and look around. Despite feeling like Sunken Ghost Ship, you see no goal spheres, normal or endowed with feet and the ability to say "F DIZ". You do see a wide wooden catwalk directly forward, reminiscent of the mine stages in Donkey Kong Country. To your right is a large pool of clear blue water, and the large vent is behind you.
What do you do?
> 1) Walk along the wooden footpath.
> 2) Jump into the pool of water.
> 3) Look to the left to see if there is anything over there.
