Screen Scrolling Pipes

I installed them but now when I try to open my ROM in zsnes it won't load. Also, is any number/letter greater than 1, for example, would 0xA000 be greater than 0x1000, because that may be the problem, but I don't think so.
In Hexadecimal you count this way:
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F
So, in fact A is greater than 1.

Okay, then freespace isn't the problem.
Maybe you just use the Pipes Patch from the hacks section?
It's an IPS Patch, where everything is set up right and ready to use.

I thought you could only apply that to a clean ROM.
Yea, thats right, but you could just transfer all the levels from your current ROM to the Patched ROM.

I don't know how to copy levels, only the OW.
Go to File -> Levels -> Export Multiple Levels to Files -> Check the Box and hit Enter -> Give it a Name and pree OK

Then in the new ROM, you go to File -> Levels -> Import multiple Levels from Files and hit Enter

Okay, Thanks, but I will NOT port over unless I have to, I really don't want to have to find the graphics and replace the AGAIN. I would rather wait for an easier fix

You don't have to. Export both the GFX and the ExGFX from the old ROM, move the two folders to the folder with the new ROM, and import the GFX and ExGFX. Done.

If you mean the Map16 tiles, open your old ROM and bring up the 16x16 Tile Map Editor. Press F5 to create two Map16 files. Move these to the folder with the new ROM, and bring up the 16x16 Tile Map Editor. Press F6, and then press F9 to save the tiles.

Edit-Nevermind, I just read a thread that said custom music is incompatible w/ the patch, is this true?
Remember that you can only use one IPS patch per hack, so from now on, you'll have to use Xkas.
I just tested the pipes on a clean ROM, and the ROM didn't load, so I know I'm installing it wrong, here are the steps I took (after putting the ROM in the same folder as all the files:

1. Found 0x???? freespace (all I know is it was greater than 0x1000)
2. converted to SNES via lunar adress.
3. Changed the Datalocation to the SNES adress and changed the Map16 page to 6
4. opened pipes.bat
5. opened noblocks.bat
6. pressed F3 to load the piped on page 6

Anything I'm doing wrong?

Edit: I decided I'll just try to intstall them normally (as a block) sorry if I didn't make that clear.
