Now this Thread is going to be updated.
Mattrizzle finished our Presents Logo and I must say, it looks nice:



I cancelled the ghost house level and started with a better level- Meta-Knight's Halberd level

Here are songs that are made for our hack. You can just download the SPC but we maybe submit them after finishing our hack:

I have an idea for the gameplay:

I wrote this in the Advanced SMW Forum Hex/ASM Help Thread but I get negative answers. Have a look at my long post and say what you would say.
It doesnt need to be a .png file, I tried it out with a .jpg, and it works fine. Also 256 colors IS the limit.

But, I am kinda in a shock because Smallhacker and Boom.dk is joining us o.o

OK, that's good. I am going to squeeze every partners avatar in a pic write the names under it and design it out then I give it to you for the intro adder.

The intro picture is only limited by the amount of OAM space and the number of sprites per scanline. The code can be altered to use a different palette for each tile. With clever layering techniques(a la the NES Megaman games), up to 8 16-color palettes can be used.
So it means we can't use 256 colors like Ersanio said? Because he posted a pic from SMAS of the intro adder and it had more then 16 colors.
Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were talking about the Nintendo Presents logo replacement. That added intro can have up to 256 colors.

Sure. So, how do we do that?
We let the Mario Sprite until someone makes it. (I can give it a try later)
I send Mattrizzle the hack so he can make our "Presents Logo" then he send it to Ersanio to insert a Picture with the Intro Adder.
Now my question:
How many colors can I use in the Picture?
i guess i can design levels and just send you the level files
EDIT:btw, you are going to have to tell me what kind of levels you want. Ex: ice, water, land.
I think a normal grassland level should do it. I am going to make one too with my new self-drawn GFX.
