No. Just take the fastest possible exit.

If you think a level will be completed faster if you activate a switch, you are free to activate it first. It's all to your own decision.
Originally posted by A chairWhat will happen if two people set to face each other can't ever get on simultaneously?
That shouldn't ever happen... timezones aren't that hard to come by. Just PM the guy who you have to play against and tell him if he has any suitable time. There
has to be a time at which both can play.
If that doesn't work, I can offer an extra 3 days of time, but if that still isn't enough, then it's a pity. :/

1. Download and install Hamachi and ZSNES v1.42.
2. Join the channel I told about in the first post (not a necessarity, but it'd be better.)
3. Go to ZSNES v1.42, then:
Netplay -> Internet
Port: 7845 (or so)
Nickname: insert nickname here
If you're going to host the game, 'Start as server'. Click it.
If not, do the following:
IP: The IP you can see of the opponent in your Hamachi client (that is, if he/she will host the game).
And then 'Connect to server'.
Note that UDP/TCP have to be the same for both players. And IIRC, you also need to have the same ROM name.

Whichever you find easiest. I'd say PM is a good idea.

If you mean that by playing a ROM, yes.
