All About Zelda Games!

Okay, I was going through the Lakebed Temple in Twilight Princess, and I was only two keys into the dungeon, and I was at that spiral room where you go up and you're at that bridge high above the Zora statue head. Anyway, here I am, scrounging around the area, looking to see if I was missing something. I spent two hours in the dungeon, finding other doors, trying to solve other puzzles, and then gave up. Soon, I went to youtube to find a video walkthrough to see what I was missing. Know what I was missing the whole time? Well, do you?

...

I walked by a well-hidden ladder.

Yes, a LADDER. I spent two hours realizing I was missing a ladder!

Zelda's become a game that makes you feel so stupid rather than a game with puzzles that are rewarding in the end =/

Spending about three days trying to find out where the lake was in TP.
Then I found it and felt like a retard. I think the game was too dark to see anything, so that's why you can miss things.
I will become alive again sometime soon.
Turn up the brightness on your TVs, damn.
My TV's brightness is pretty high, and I STILL manage to miss things in temples and dungeons. Is it just because of how MASSIVE the rooms are?

That's worse than screwing up the OoC water temple...

Finding out you had to use the boxes to press the switch inside Jabu Jabu in Ocarina of Time.
Looking for the Treasure in Disorientation Station (Spirit Tracks) and remembering I forgot to use the damn flute. I spent 30 mins stuck in that damn cave.
Yeah I hate how dark TP is. It makes things harder.

I had to play TP for the first time with a shitty TV, I didn't have the remote, and the TV had no menu button to set the brightness settings. So it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through the twilight temple, other dungeons were just arghhhhhgleblargh. Same with MGS3. :|

Anyways, the water temple, the part where you had to knock down the rocks from the ceiling with arrow bombs. I never saw them. It was too dark. Then again, Midna tells you about them... I never listen to her. I was stuck for DAYS there. :P
Mine was in phantom hourglass, the part where they wanted you to print the green symbol from a mirrored map to the actual map. ...I had to CLOSE my DS?!
Our world will stop advancing once humans manage to create sufficient magnificence for a whole lifetime. Until then, I just create.
Awesome video game music on my youtube channel

Same. I had no clue what to do. Then I got done, closed my DS, came back and I got it.
This is probably different from everyone else's, but...

hahahaha same xD
took me months because i gave up :l
Once I was in the water temple in TP, and I was almost done with the dungeon. I notice a locked door from a distance, and so I went to look for a key. I consulted me compass and spend several hours finding every single treasure chest. I find them all and none of them had a key. So I went back to the door, and guess what? It was the boss door. I already had the boss key too.

I had to look up a walkthrough for it. And then I felt really stupid. >_>
Also, as I said in some other thread, something really stupid happened to me in Twilight Princess. It was in the water temple, in the room before the boss key. You know, that underwater maze room. It took me a few minutes until I found out where that damn rock is you have to bomb to get through that room. :P
