Does Mario walk weird to the dot (like back and forth for a second)?

I had trouble with a path down in that corner of the map as well, and I think I decided it had to something with the hardcoded paths. My suggestion would be to find out how to disable the hardcoded paths (I never found out how), or just rearrange the path in some way not to go over the wrong tile.

I wish I knew exactly how to disable these (there is info about them at x21278 in the ROM map).

O.O It actually worked? No problem. :D
Is that the CI2 secret exit? I thought Hardcoded paths were always attached to level tile numbers and, in the case of the one in Valley of Bowser, the associated tile (10C) always has 'enable right" even if you disable it.

You probably already know this, but you might want to note that the paths are broken around the tree.
He's probably enabled left and used a silent event.
