So yeah, have fun going through my posts. :P
This looks quite cool, the level design is good. I especially like the winter palette you made for it. Are you planning on making this a vanilla hack?

Anyway, can't wait to see more screens.
Find me on here if you need me; also, it'd be nice to have a few SMWers on there ;)

"Yeah, I want your cutoff!"
"Oh baby, your bad palette is so tight!"

Sorry about the image, I have never used imageshack before...
There is ExGFX in the game, but there is vanilla elements too, because I like some of the Graphics.

That's not HIS winter palete.
It's from the palete showoff thread.
It looks fine, but i want more screenshots.;)
Hey, welcome to SMWC! Have a nice time here.

I had to edit your post, since you didn't set your tags correctly (you didn't even use the right ones- URL makes a link, while IMG actually places the image there.), and upon doing so, I like the look of your first pic, but the background's too bright. Could you darken it a little, please? Other than the background, you've got a great palette there!

Second pic doesn't work, though. Did you grab the right link? Remember, you want to grab the link that has the IMG tags around it ([ IMG ], without spaces.), so you won't have to do anything but copy the link and paste it here.

Good luck with your hack!
<Adam> I feel like smwc is a prostitute now, because we put up a porn ad for money
That screenshot looks great as I dont see anything wrong. Im liking the pallette that you used. Also is there a plot to the story or is it random levels that you can play? Either way I hope this hack turns out well.
All credits will be mentioned in a seperate file in release.

The other image. It should work correctly this time, hopefully.
Another screenshot!
That underwater/underground level looks interesting and I like how the ground is like see through.
Don't worry, it does.

Anyway, I like the transparency effect in the cave, although I don't think it works particularly well with those palettes. How about you make it have an icy palette or something? That would be cool.

I used the Translucent level setting for the cave level.
There is a plot and theme in this hack, but the levels I'm showing aren't in any peticular order. (The cave level is in World 3, The winter level is in World 4)
Anyway, here is another image of the winter level:
Looks nice so far.

Personly I think the cave could work in a greeny palette. But since I havent tryed then I dont know.

(Are the koopas in the first screenshot pink or is it just me?)
I have tried the green palette you suggested, but it doesn't look right with the water.
I have darkened the BG in the winter level which Pikaguy900 suggested. It looks better!
I am currently working on a swamp level for world 1 with LunarDrake's swamp ExGfx.

I see CUTOFF! Do something. Though it IS small. But other than that, good hack.
YOUR layout has been removed.

I'm sorry about the cutoff tile, I didn't notice.
My hack isn't quite ready for playtesting yet, but I will consider you when I am ready.:D
The Original SMW had cutoff in the same way, but it is an easy fix, if you know Map 16.
Dam red toon link you ninji'd me...I think.

Yeah i remember that level in SMW with the same type of MINOR cutoff.
I have fixed it. (A simple Y flip of one of the tiles)
Didnt think you could fix the cutoff seeing how nintendo didnt in the orignal SMW, just shows how lazy nintendo were.
Welcome to Super Mario World Central JDC! I hope you have a wonderful time here, and that you have a ton of fun no matter what forum you're in. (While following the rules of course.)

Anyway, your hack looks very nice for a first hack, and your palette choices are very nice. (Even though you didn't make them.) Looks like you have a bright future ahead of you.

First Screen-Shot

There's nothing incorrect with what you showed in the first screen-shot, but I agree with pikaguy900 about the background. Maybe a gray would do the trick.

Second Screen-Shot

The second screen-shot has one tiny error. The corner tile that's underwater is making a tiny triangle where there's not any water. To fix this just remove the corner tile, then put a water tile where the corner tile was, and then just plop the corner tile back where it was (on the new water tile) and you're done. (Don't forget to replace any tiles the water tile overlapped.) Hope that helps.

Oh, and maybe you can change the FG (foreground) and the BG (background) to an icy palette. Supposing you know how to do that without screwing yourself. If you don't we can tell you how, so no worries. ;)

Third/Final Screen-Shot

That's a wonderful example of a non-linear level. So that's spectacular.

A non-linear level is a level that has multiple paths that, in the end, all lead to the same place. Unless of course, one leads to a secret exit. You want every level in your hack to be non-linear. But the first 3 or so levels can be linear.

Overall, very nice job for a first hack. ;)

EDIT: NINJA'D!!! *ROOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!*
The top of the mountain in the third screen shot leads to the secret exit:)
I have already fixed the problems in the first 2 screenshots.(See my other post)
I have nearly finished my swamp level! I'm just playing it through, checking my level design.
