This week a church in Guam pronounced a man and his copy of dating sim Love Plus husband and, well, wife, and the happy couple will be hosting a reception in Japan that you are cordially invited to view tomorrow.

The unnamed man took his DS and the game to Guam where he said vows with to Nene Anegasaki, one of three virtual girlfriends featured in Love Plus. Tomorrow, the couple will have a reception held on Niconico Douga at around 12 p.m. (no time zone given, check local listings on the site, if you can read Japanese.) The media has been invited to attend; slides will be shown from their time dating up through the wedding.

I've heard of dudes marrying a mannequin before so, this not in fact the most weird-slash-creepy-slash-pathetic thing I've ever heard. But my forced nonjudgment about this really needs its own word. Begrimaced? Bittersad?

Yeah...I'm debating on either laughing, or just outright slapping myself.
I knew something like this would happen eventually. This is just insane. :\
I lol'd! Some people just like.... wow!
I'm literally speechless. But the thing that stood out is the fact that a church agreed to hold the wedding. I wonder if they made a word for this type of relationship/fetish. I'm guessing he is probably called an Audiophile, or something.

Somebody doesn't know what an audiophile is... (it's somebody who is very picky about audio quality)

Anyways, all I can say is, why the fuck would he want to do that, and why the fuck did people let him.

What is humanity turning into...
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)
That. Is. Just. Epic. XD

Aaaand this little event takes obsession to a whole new level. I swear, it's people like that guy who give the gaming community in general a bad name.

ALSO TAKING TIME TO ADVERTISISE KAIZO HACK WITH SAME NAME
Well, we don't have to worry about machines taking over the world, we'll just marry them.

i just lurk sometimes
You know, I highly doubt that his "girlfriend" said any vows back. That's a sign of a weak relationship; she could just walk out on him at any time! :o
It's going to suck when about three million other people who play the game get in an affair with her. I smell some extreme tension there.

(also, saw the video for the first time yesterday on YouTube. I pretty much facepalmed throughout the entire thing.)
Imagine how the guy's family must feel. Oh well, at least the guy won't have any in-laws to deal with...

Oh, my.
And all this time I was thinking that this was a man who married a girl that was also a user in this online dating game that he was playing. lol what a farce :)
Eguallam na ounie-- ikei kabiya.
Abhorring repetition without spellcheck and without variance since 1957.
Oh wow, hes sooo lucky.
And the game will never get a divorce, have fights and will always pleasure him... so lucky..
