Despite a few detuned notes in the s- oh who cares about a couple of notes? You did a lovely job, and I'm sure many, many people will be finally learning to use Sample Tool just to put these songs in.
At one point on IRC, I recall you linking an SPC of the title screen from Yoshi's Island, saying that it was part of your C3 project. I thought that maybe it was being used in a YI-themed hack, but what you came up with impresses me even more. These ports sound great: very accurate and true to the originals. I'm guessing some of these ports you did by ear as well, which is even more impressive. Awesome work, and I'm sure many will find this very useful.
It makes me glad to know that many people are going to find this useful. Also, I've submitted this to the music section so that people don't have to check this thread every time they want to download this. :P
Here's the download link: Click!
35 songs? Wow, that must of taken a while to finish, Jimmy. You're really doing a great job, keep it up!

(Oh god I hope this thread doesn't get out of control now.)
DUDE! This is awesome! I love YI!

You should have put
failpiano
in the soundtrack somewhere...
k guys, quit derailing the thread. >_>

EDIT: Yeah... I had a bit of trouble with #33 in the soundtrack. Sorry about the weird errors. I did about all I could with that one.
Wow, that's some really impressive work. o_O
Once I finally figure out how the damn Sample Tool works, I'll defenitly use this, because these are some of the most accurate ports I've ever heard.
Great job on it!
This is...absolutely great. But seriously, you have an awesome work in your hands, Jimmy. With the samples the songs are extremely similar to the original YI music. Very-very impressive.
