Unnamed SMW project

Hey, everyone, YamiMario here.

Some time ago, I realized why I slowly started to lose interest in making MegaMan Reborn.
It was starting to become a mess. Folders with random sprites, blocks, ExGFX, and patches was everywhere, and it was getting hard to have track of what was on which level, and so on.

So one day, I decided to prick up a fresh rom, and smack the changes I had done to the gameplay on the previous rom, and start over.
Then, after a little time of nothing, I decided to actually do something different, than having it based on MegaMan, and the series formula and universe. I'm still keeping the changes that are present in the demo I released, but there are going to be a lot of more freedom for me to do stuff now that I don't completely base it on that "template", if you can call it that. And I won't have to come up with some lame MegaMan fanfic to use as the plot.

Speaking of the plot, the story is going to feature original characters. No Mario characters, no MegaMan characters. In fact, it's most likely to feature the guy from this mediocre concept art, that I drew a while ago.

Now, I don't have much to show off, but here is the start of a level I am working on. Parts from levels previously featured in MegaMan Reborn should sneak their way in to this game as well. Also, yes, I am aware that this is still using the old MegaMan art, because I'm lazy.

The square blocks are wall jump blocks. Their looks are to be changed eventually.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone that helped on the original MegaMan Reborn, before it got this change. You guys rock.
Hmm, another interesting hack. This one looks pretty promising.
