Very First Level EVER

Do you keep records of your Mario levels you've made? I know I do. I've had Lunar Magic for almost exactly two years now so I've decided to scrounge out a retro level from November of 2007. This retro level though, is the level I made the very first day I got Lunar Magic.

Check it out.

Does anyone have their first, or very early level on file or video?

I think i got my first level somewhere, yours was not to bad, mine was terrible.
A blatant 105 edit, as usual. You at least changed the Graphics and background. That's awesome.
Wasn't too bad for a first. Better than mine that's for sure.
God... My first level was A GLITCH NIGHTMARE!!! But it was pretty good BUT IT WAS SO DAM HARD! Still...
YOUR layout has been removed.

I do non-kaizo beta tests!

This gives me an idea for a hack.

Everybody's first levels.

My first level was a new level I made using ctr+del, since I read through the help file right when I opened it. </gasp>
I messed with the palettes for days, figuring out what colors were for what object\sprite. It was fun, but the level I made contained a lot of Map16 edited moons...

THE HORROR! D:
ZOMG CUTOFF! :D
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
Mine was a level filled with bounce off any side note blocks and invisible coin blocks. There was a muncher floor. About two screens or so, there was a wall with an opening at the top. The wall was made out of bounce side turn blocks. Then it was the same as before the wall, just with lava floor. Then it went to a choose your own path. Then on to the blocks that act like slope with a muncher floor. I can't really remember anymore of it.

Mine is still worse! Beware eye-cancer!!!
I play different games on Twitch, I did speedruns of Pokemon Red and Gold, Mario Party 4, but I also do SMW stuff.
I only stream to make progress on my hack currently. Check out my twitch!

Taomb is alive again. Check my Twitch as I work on in it when live.

Let's just say, the munchers were everywhere.
Mine got wiped out when my old hard drive did, but it probably had floating water and/or Munchers in it somewhere.
I don't recall it being too terrible, although I really had a line guide fetish or something. My first world had like, 5/6 levels as line guide challenges.

Oh yeah, and I used cut-off rope and vine tiles, thinking they were decent at the time.

After careful nostalgia'ing I was able to dig up some screenshots of my first hack ever. But nothing on my first level ever.
I made a standalone game once, look for Seabug Stampede on Google Play.
(Part of) third level and the entire first level of my second hack. Back then, I didn't know there was such a thing as CamStudio, Hypercam, etc. so I recorded it with the camera.
The first hack... ho boy, that one was quite possibly even worse. From what I remember, my level didn't even have a background! Why? Well, I can explain. I accidentally deleted the background but didn't know how to add the tiles back in -.- ...yeah. I also didn't know how to do vertical scroll at will until near the end of my 'test' hack. I remember I spammed the level with lightnings and coin cloud games - the latter, I had never even noticed in Super Mario World. XD
For my second hack, neither did I know how to remove the Layer 3 tides back then, so my fourth level of that one was... rather generic.
Did I already mention I never even knew Special World existed until I opened Lunar Magic?

...oh well, everyone starts out as newbs, I guess.
--------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------
Hm... I believe Death Death Mayhem was my first ever hack. :/
If you look on Youtube, Icrangirl did an LP of it. Yes, It's beyond kaizo horrible; It's ugly AND hard!

My first edits were rather basic, in level 105 i copied some yoshi coins. after experimenting a bit, i made a blatant level 105 edit called "Pipe city". I can't remember exactly how it was, but i could probably make it another time if i try.
aran - Graces of Heaven
my first level was probably the most obvious level 105 edit, it only had diferent settings and all the floor where replaced with pipes.
it was bad, too bad.
I do pixels sometimes
This is one of the hacks I made a long time ago. It looks like it got cancelled May 2008, not sure when I started it.
No, I don't know what I was smoking when I made it.

And I have memories of making another hack, with a close-to-blank OW... let's see if I can find it.
Yeah, here it is. It's obviously older than the above one (from April 2007, and according to the title screen, started in 2006).
(And it already contained random dumb custom code (aka ASM, except it was made in hex)...)
Feel free to open up the remaining levels in LM, it looks like I did it wrong when I made it.
(It looks like I also forgot nuking the debug patch. This makes some HDMA effects, like the save game dialog on the OW, screw up.)
