Okay my help is ExGfx. Its only because I dont know how to insert ExGfx and create it to so please help. Also you will be a crew member of my hack if you help.
ok, insert ExGFX is easy.

1. first, go into LM and and click all of the mushrooms in order (red, green, blue, yellow)

2. download ExGFX in the ExGFX section

3. extract it into the folder where your rom is

4. take the bin file for the ExGFX and put it into the ExGFX file that was created and rename it ExGFX80

5. go into LM

6. click the yellow mushroom

7. click the red poison mushroom

8. click the checkbox

9. click FG3 and scroll down until you see the number 80

10. click the question mark box that says "16x16 tile map editor"

11. scroll down to til you see a blank page

12. skip that page

13. on page 3 press F3 on your keyboard

14. now press F9

15. go into the "add objects" window

16. scroll down to "Direct map 16 access"

17. scroll down til you find your ExGFX
TTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAANNK YOU! Very helpful.
and if a message pops up saying that the graphics arent in 4bpp blah blah blah... go to File -> Graphics -> Insert ExGFX to rom then uncheck the modify the rom with ASM to use 4bpp tiles instead of 3bpp then there you go.

the only reason why the graphics are supposed to be 4bpp is for ExAnimation because if you dont you get garbled graphics for the ExAnimation stuff

ok i have the same problem i did this and i can insert the ExGFX but the grapichics are messed up what do i do?
after you insert the ExGFX its supposed to come with a Map16Page.bin and Map16PageG.bin what you do is put those where you rom is then go to LM and go to 16x16 Editor and go down to page 3 or whatever page from 3-F then press F3 to load the stuff, then press F9 to save it and there you go now just go to add objects window and go to Direct Map16Access and go to the page where you put the ExGFX.

if your wonder how to go to page 3 in 16x16 editor press the down/up keys

Also, most readmes tell you which ExGFX files go to which slot in a level. Misplacing those can also cause them to look glitchy. Now if the grphics are miscolored, change their colors in the palette editor. Simple as that.

Preferrably, next time try to read documents, tutorials, etc. Not hating or anything, just trying to help. Asking questions of things not mentioned in the tutorials if they're threads would be nice too. Here is a link for an ExGFX insertion tutorial. CLICK ME!
Im getting a error message when disabling asm and inserting exgfx can somebody tell me what Im stupidly missing?
