My issue is this; most of the levels we have are too easy. I tend to make challenging, difficult hacks. It's my nature, and what I enjoy. I enjoy hacks that make you curse with frustration (to a certain point). I'm also, very bluntly, against having to change my levels (again in some cases). If they're too difficult, then with all honesty, I'm also working on my own hack and would be more than happy to use them there. The problem with this hack is that we have a wide spectrum of level designers, but no one else really, really knows anything else.
We have an overworld, though I haven't seen it, but the beta one I saw was... eh. Most of the level design has been much of the same as well. We have far too many grass land levels, and not enough of anything else. We have a bunch of custom sprites, but as far as I know we don't know how to fix some of their flaws. I don't even know how to insert them. The skill level and styles this hack currently contains is too varied or wide.
So here are my thoughts. Compared to any other levels in this hack, my levels are all considerably more difficult, and would currently all require (extreme) re-designing. Therefor, I'll keep those levels for my own hack, and if I do design any more levels for this hack, I'll make them easy. But at the moment my life doesn't really have time for hacking, so I'll function as a beta-tester and supporter only. I'm sorry to bow out of this project, but I really don't have the time commitment anymore, and have no desire to have to re-design my levels, or have them 'redesigned'.
Note: You may use some concepts I've inserted, but do not directly copy anything, please. Once again, I'm sorry it's come to this, and eagerly await a demo, whenever it's put out. Hope you guys aren't too mad, but it isn't really working...
