Your laziness has saved you some time, then, because I didn't make any changes to Yoshi's Head position in SMWRedrawn. I just kind of awkwardly crammed it into the game's original space. That Yoshi's looking good, anyway, but I think Mario probably sits a bit too high in the saddle.
Heres a screen shot I made while fooling around with the Sprite Tool, Lunar Magic, yy-chr, and M3ed. (smb3 Editor) Not intending to finish the level but I will work on a new set of levels... however I may want to include SMB3 levels however to keep it unique I will keep them at a minimum.

Looks like a remake of SMB3 1-1 to me. It's a rule. No classic SMB stage remakes.
CP_foothills has been canned. Therefore, this space is once again blank.

It's more or less advice. If you want to make a mark here, remakes aren't recommended. Everyone has some creative juice - find yours and use it.

Though I got a problem with the background.

Does anyone know what spooky background has an ExGFX file that can be used on FG 2?

Back to working on Mario and the Forgotten Flower:
World 1: 89%
Submap World 1: 98.9%

Looks good, but the goomba's don't look too good, they are practically 8-bit, and I hope that they are squishable.
I also hope you can drop behind the white blocks like in SMB3, that's what they are ther for.
The goomba are squishible and the feather was a carry over from a level I am not going to use... also their is a feather in the level I posted Screenshots of but... you cant get to it without another feather.

Super Mario 64 reference...that's how it was in "The Castle" one of Lightvayne's other hacks...the small Mario is a little odd, so he changed the mushroom to a hat and made "small Mario" into "Hatless Mario"...

Still working on the player graphics. It is a painful, often shameful process, and it's only going to get worse when I have to do the gliding sprites.
