The ruins have at last been unearthed.

As the adventurer tried to maintain balance, he has realized that those strange blue blocks are solid. He jumps on the block below the shiny yellow thing, and looks closely at it, almost blinding himself. He attempts to grab it.

Grabbing the shiny yellow thing, you gain the ability to shoot fire! Unfortunately, that is totally useless, since a giant wall of fire is blocking your path.

That pipe looks really promising though.

What do you do?
You jump into the wall of fire.

You use Super Paper Mario's 2D-3D ability to be able to pass the wall of fire. Everything but the fire is 3D. You jump to the platform located near the pipe and then reach the pipe, then go out of the 3D flip. You notice there is only one part of the pipe's entrance, not 2. You pull out the ugly block that was stuck there and replace it with an exit-enabled pipe tile. You go down the pipe to the next area, still keeping an eye out for the dangers possibly lurking.
While flipping to 3D worked, it came at a cost. The instability of the effect caused more of those strange blue blocks to appear, totally blocking out the pipe for good.

What do you do?
Burn the blocks with the fire power recently obtained.
Butt stomp the blocks, breaking them.
Fire is shot at the blocks, but all it does is turn them a little black. Butt stomping them will most certainly fail simply because you do not actually have a butt to stomp with.

A strange yellow line of light appears out of nowhere to your right, obviously hinting you to cross the blue blocks of terror and forget the pipe. The light did not want to have to appear, but it realized that the person in the fortress was actually dumb enough to try and break the unbreakable blue blocks.

What will you do now...

Interact with the light. (What ever floats your boat)
You take one of the blue blocks and store it in your inventory. Then you carefully approach the light.

After grabbing one of the strange blue blocks to take with you, you interact with the light. Little do you know it is actually a portal to another part of the fortress - but everything seems to be inverted!

The block you're carrying is uber heavy. There appears to be a strange glowing sphere above you with a ? on it. There is a teeter-totter in front of you, and a Bullet charging right at your face.

What do you do?
You hold up the blue block to protect yourself from the rabid bullet bill.
After blocking the bullet bill and watching it struggle, roll, and flop around on the ground like a helpless pathetic cheep-cheep, I stand on the end of the seesaw closest to the ? sphere, and give a mighty heave to the blue block, praying my pencil thin limbs are strong enough to throw it far enough to not drop it on my feet. I am propelled into the air, much higher than I expected. As I fall, I aim myself towards the platform, not worrying, as my paper-thin body will gently float down to my goal.

Using the block, you manage to stop the Bullet Bill. It prompty falls to the ground, dead.

You then toss the heavy blue block over to the other side of the seesaw in hopes of propelling yourself upwards - however, the weight of the block snaps the end of the seesaw and crashes through the floor. Not only that, the strange ? sphere got tired of waiting for you to collect it, and therefore grew legs and started walking away.

What do you do?
You pick up the bullet bill, and throw it at the yellow bridge-like thing to make it explode. Then you hope the sphere falls down

Edit: lol F DIZ

You use your fire shooting abilities to shoot down the green sphere, and it falls to the ground.
You take whatever methods possible to knock down the orange bridge and the green sphere - but you go far too overboard! Your fire power obliterates the sphere. You feel utterly awful, as you realize the sphere most likely had a wife and kids.

What is your next move?

You carry the corpse of the ? sphere, and jump down the hole out of sadness.

...Unless someone else can come up with something more fancy.

Poor ? sphere :(

You bury the ? sphere and jump down the hole to continue your quest of... doing whatever.
You continue your search further into the fortress in hopes of finding something that could revive the ? sphere. Perhaps something green and fungal.
You leap over the hole and go into the next room (if there is one).
