Pacheco Project – The Forbidden Land –
This is supposed to be my first Hack, but why I put this name on it? At first the main character of my game was called “Pacheco”, and I intend to change he´s name because I think this name doesn’t sounds good. Since I just started it I don´t have much things to show I only have all the storyline and the overworld, but I will use my vacations to try finish it. It will be a game with a lot of cutscenes, new bosses and much more.
Characters:
Pacheco: Friendly and kind, want a world away from war, very loyal, but when everything he believes, and everyone he loves, are destroyed he totally changes, from friendly and kind to evil and cold. He has no idea of what happen in his past, when near of his death was found by Mario, who helps him to survive. But there is one thing he doesn’t know, one unimaginable power sleeps deep inside him.
Kestrel: Alone in the world, also without a past, very arrogant, was alone in the world since Pacheco help him, not much is know about him, as long him was a very closed person, is he going to remember his past?
???(Not think in a name yet)> A mysterious person that was one friend of Pacheco, but one day him disappear when Pacheco most need of him, but now him was back, to reveal more about Pacheco´s past, what is his true purpose?
There was far more characters in this game, such Mario, Link, and much others. Even that I will put more attention to the tree characters up there, the other ones will have a good presence at the storyline.
I also don´t have a name for the villain so it will be placed with “???”
History:
There was a peacefully land where everything lives in harmony, but a danger awoke. As the night falls a dark shade covers the land, the darkness spread trough fast and covered the land, ??? a heartless demon that the only purpose was to spread the chaos beyond the world, begin to bring pain to this peacefully world. Bowser fall under ??? domain, forced to obey all that comes from his supreme ruler. With the help of Bowser and his Koopa troops, Him capture every single thing that are in his way, bringing pain, fear and despair for who tries to cease him, nothing stops him, everything fears him. No matter how hard everyone does, no matter how much lives were lost, him spread chaos and darkness trough the lands. But where there is darkness, so must there be light. One soul determinate to stop his insane actions, go at the encounter of the beast. a fierce battle is about to begin. Pacheco, the leader of the Monty moles, against ???, the leader of the chaos creatures, in possession of the Koopa troops either. When the two of them enters in the battlefield the very earth trembles in fear, an epic battle has started. Pacheco, after a hard and though battle has emerged victorious, and seal ???, alongside of his dark servants. He knows that some time ??? will be back, but until then he thought that peace could prevail . . . he thought wrong. . .

More about Pacheco´s Past will be revealed as you progress the game.

This looks pretty amazing, and I'm talking about the overworld. I really like it, great use of all the tiles. I see some brand new ideas in this overworld.

Also, I think your storyline is pretty great. And it's good another character instead of Mario is being used again.
You have an interesting story, and I like the main character's personality, as well as you're concept for him! The only odd thing that caught my eye is the massive waterfall to the right of the overworld. It's not bad, it is just so HUGE it seems odd. But really, this has gone off to an excellent start, can't wait to see your level design as well.

The OW looks great and I like how the player is gonna look. Heh, nice design for him...er...it. :3 I'm gonna like to see how the character looks in-game.

The perfect perspective and the variety of the overworld amazes me! The sketches for the character are awesome too. Keep it up!

The story is very original. and I'd love to see the Pacheco sprites in action. (when they're finished of course)
as for the overworld, it looks very well done, however several areas will need decoration.

i don´t do alot of stuff since i was having problem with the ExGfx(i not all that good on it, i just begin to learn it now) here some screeshots of the 1st level:
Entrence of the Mole village: the sky seems darker than normal, as strange black dots appear the moles begin to act widely:

The village was empty, since some of them is good they preffer to stay at home: the holes work as doors.

it seems that is no way out.

Hahaha, the main character is freaking awesome!

Not only that but I'm liking the level design, and overworld.
The cave level looks sort of maze-ish and tight jumps. I like that, that's what cave levels are supposed to be like!

Well there you have it. I'm too lazy to actually say something about every screen, but overall it looks good.

Wow, I'm almost speechless, this hack looks original fun-to-play, and just awesome! One question though, are the Mario sprites going to be changed to your Pacheco sprites?

Well, the over all design of the levels looks great. However, if I were you, I'd do something about the foreground of the cave level. (it just doesn't match the icy BG) Or you could switch the BG color, it's really just a personal opinion though.
In the cave level, there are cutoff vines.
But not looking at that, this looks very good! I like the overworld!
After a long time here is one new level, hope you all enjoy this one too:
- After geting out from the Moles construction site, pacheco continue his search to know what is happening, him will need all the help him can get, so he decided to contact one friend.

DemonSteel: yes, the Mario sprites will be changed for the Pacheco ones, but i never think that making a sprite would be so hard, i think the sprites going to be the last thing i´ll do before releasing one demo.

Flandre Scarlet: i know about the BG, it was one Palette Error. i change the FG pallete, and then the BG changed too, i going to fix it.

Umbra: i noticed the vines, i going to fix it.
