I don't know if there's already this question in the thread, but:

How do I let Yoshi face to the other direction? (for example, 1-5, he starts facing at the left, but I want him face to the right in my hack.)

What I mean is I want him to face to the left or right at any level, not disabling them.
Ok, I think I found Burt the Bashful's skin and pants palette.
The skin palette is at offset x1FE840(x1FE83E leasd to color 0 of the skin palette)(0x2bytes)- 1F885C and his pants palette is at offset x1FE860(0x2 bytes)-x1FE87C.

Made changes at these addresses and I got Burt's new colors:



Yes, they're screwed, but at least the colors are changed.

The colour changes do NOT affect Burt's hands, those being sprites.

The first one is found at x1FEBC8-x1FEBE2(0x2 bytes) and the other one is at x1FEBE4-x1FEBFE(0x2 bytes). Edited its colours and got this:

Anyway, thanks for posting these. I'll add them to the ROM map once I get home later tonight. From the looks of things, I would assume that most of the palettes in the game, as well as many of the tilemaps, are stored around that range (or so it seems).

Bigger Boo's palettes are found. First is at x1FEA40-x1FEA5A(0x2 bytes) and the other one at x1FEA5C-x1FEA76(0x2 bytes). It's fun to edit bosses' colors. You can get something like this:




ATTENTION: I found Sluggy's palettes!
The first one is at x1FE74E-x1FE76C(0x2 bytes)
The other one is at x1FE76E-x1FE78A(0x2 bytes)
Both of these addresses contain an unused pink color each, which I am against changing!

I changed his colors and these were the results:


NOTE: The heart and spots are not affected by the changes, since they are sprites.

Salvo got green slimed. Roger the Potted Ghosts palettes have been spotted, the first one being at x1FE87E-x1FE89A(0x2 bytes) and the other one at x1FE89E-x1FE8BA(0x2 bytes). Both addresses have an unused pink color so don't bother change that. The results are below:


Wow! this is great! And um... Marching Milde's palette has been discovered by palette archeologists! x1FE8BC-x1FE8D8(0x2 bytes) with unused pink color that you shouldn't change...

Regardless, here is what I achieved after changing her colors:


Changes to her colors do not include her face, cheeks, and feet since they're sprites.
Wow nice finds you two! You could make some very interesting bosses with these, like a hot Bigger Boo. ^_^Free counters!
Tap Tap the Red Nose's palette is to be found at x1FA842-x1FA85E(0x2 bytes). The pink color between the red and light blue colors shouldn't be touched. Here are the results:



Tap Tap the Red Nose becomes Tap Tap the Rainbow body. :)
