Cell Phones...

I don't know, I just feel like having a thread about discussing them. Personally I have an unusual dislike towards them. I'm not into the whole texting thing.
Same. Why text when you can call? If you can't call, you probably shouldn't be texting either. And many people have games and music on thier cell phones, but it's not that great. A cell phone's best use is as a cell phone, nothing more.

I don't have one, though.

Good points, I also think they ruin your face to face situations. I don't have one either : P
I hate cell phones, don't have one, don't need one, all they do is make people lazier. I shit you not, at school, I saw people talking to eachother on cell phones when they're 9 feet away from one another. If someone is out doing something, odds are they don't want to be bugged, don't call them on their cell phones.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
I have a cell phone but I barely use it.

And I'm too lazy to charge it :P
I got a cell phone about two years ago and I never use it. I just call people from my home phone. I know people who literally can't live without having their phones and will bring them into class, even though at our school having your phone with you gets you an afternoon detention.
I don't have one, don't really see a need for one. Also texting is what most people at my school use to talk during class, which is against the rules but whatever. And if a phone goes off during class then it gets taken away.
I have one but I rarely use it. A little trinket snapped to a "family plan: with Purple Haze as the ring tone.
I made a standalone game once, look for Seabug Stampede on Google Play.
Texting is annoying. I dunno why, it just is. So are cell phone bills.
I have one of those i-Phone's, I don't actually use it to call anyone unless in emergency's, instead I just use it to listen to my music and use all the fun little 'apps' you can get with it.
Their convenient. When you're talking to somebody and they are texting and/or listening to music, it's like talking to a brick wall. UNLESS of course they have developed an amazing ability to do all three at the same time, which is possible...but still annoying. Yay!

OFF TOPIC: I finally got my post to look nice ^.^

I have a fairly....not-so-good phone. All I really care about is calling with it in emergency/for convenience. I'm not a big texter or anything, and my phone isn't really good for music either.
I've got one. It used to be primarily for music listening and when the headphones died i was screwed from ever enjoying music on it again. I hafta use it to call my mom or dad whenever I'm in the city. also I hate texting very much because everyone is so obsessive over it.
sometimes i feel like yelling out "STOP F$#@%&+ TEXTING" whenever i see someone doing it in class. which is VERY often.

Yeah, that's pretty much the same for me too.
Right now I have a somewhat decent cell phone, but rarely use it. Sometimes I'll call my parents or text a friend though.

This is my cellphone wallpaper. :3
I don't mind texting to a certain extent. I would rather talk over a phone, but texting has its benefits. When I want to chat with a friend while I'm working or doing homework, texting is the only real option in this situation. When I need to ask a question, yet don't need an immediate answer, I can just text, then walk on and do other things. It's a good way to get multiple things done at one time, without being distracted by another voice. Now...my sister on the other hand texts 24/7...which is incredibly annoying. Surprised she doesn't have joint complications.

So yeah...moral of the story. I don't mind it to a certain extent. It's a neat little tool I can use when it's needed...but it doesn't replace calling someone...or better yet...talking in person.
Am I the only one who uses texting on a regular basis?

I'm not on a plan or contract, so I just get 30 dollars worth of credit for a period of time, waste it with texts, and recharge. I never call, mainly because if you call a phone that isn't the same service provider as the one you use, you get charged heaps of money. I once called my friend on Telstra for about 2 minutes and lost about $15.

Plus, I have a Sony Ericsson, so I mainly use my phone for music <3
I have a cell phone, I text people quite often for various reasons but I barely make any phone calls.
I have a cell phone which I don't actually use. It is not for texting, and I have a Get Ready for This ringtone.

I remember making a phone call to president Obama two days before he won the election with my cell phone.
Your layout has been removed...NOT! :D
What.. And did he actually answer? O_O
