I got bored the other day. It took me several hours to think of the easiest way to make the sprite float up and down, and then another few minutes to realize I didn't JSR to the routine during its floating status, haha. Here's the description for the sprite;
Originally posted by Youtube DescriptionYet another custom sprite I hope to release at C3 (May 9th & 10th). It floats in mid air, but if struck with a thrown item, it falls downward, eventually hitting some solid surface. If it does hit the surface of something, it will wait for a second or so, until it pops open and an item/enemy emerges! It was inspired by the ones in Yoshi's Island. Even cooler, the extra bit controls whether the sprite spawned is custom or not!
Oh, and I didn't make the Wing GFX routine, Davros did, I just modified it a bit. The normal item GFX routine was taken from an example in the tutorials folder of Sprite Tool.
Oh, and the level that is there is an example level, the actually level will feature these sprites, but no so many of them.
