Regarding Luigi GFX (Problem solved)

I am yet another person working on a hack where Luigi is the star character. I know how to change "Mario Start" to "Luigi Start" and I know how to replace the "Mario" status bar tiles with "Luigi" and I've used the Misc Text Editor and Thank You Message Importer to remove all other traces of Mario's name.

There's just one more thing. This isn't important, because I'm set to go as is, but I'm curious anyway. I've used the Luigi ExGFX in the ExGFX section on a backup ROM as an experiment, and each one of them makes the berries glitch, so I'm just wondering if there's any way to fix this without messing up Luigi's graphics.

Again, I could just change Mario's palette and use that, but answers would be appreciated.
Try this. It's worked for me every time i've used it.

(I could be misunderstanding you, though, so feel free to correct me)
Could be a problem in the graphics. If it is, not a glitch, just a graphic error. By the way, did you download the Separate Luigi GFX 2.1 xkas patch to get the super mario world advance 2 luigi gfx?
@ Mr. Taximan: That GFX file didn't change anything.

@ link13: I don't have or use xkas, so no, but there's an ExGFX file that replaces Mario with the SMA2:SMW Luigi graphics, but it messes up the berries (I know they're not that important, but still, they're good for decoration).
Check in YY_CHR_E, if you know what that is.

That's odd. I've only encountered this problem with one of the existing Luigi GFX & Gameplay patches. Let me make a IPS file and see if that helps.

Edit: ...and now I have the same problem. Augh. Could you wait a bit?

Edit 2: Aha! There's a sprite in there that is uneeded, so I removed it and replaced it with the berry. Now it works, including the sprite that was used twice!

See if this works.
Wait, hold the phone. I managed to get A Yoshi's Luigi GFX to work. Basically I replaced the SMA2 Luigi GFX with the Luigi's Adventure Luigi GFX and I still somehow kept the other graphics even after clicking Insert GFX to ROM.

So that one works and it doesn't seem to mess anything else up.

My apologies if the above sounded confusing. Long story short, I believe I've fixed the problem. Thank you muchly anyways, guys.
