I did not truly recognize the epicness of this before you put those blocks in. Great job!

I didn't know the bosses from Brutal Mario use Mode 7, since I didn't even have a chance of fighting against the very first one, as I got bored upon playing the first levels of that hack.

As for Bowser's Castle, I didn't know it uses Mode 7 either... heh. :P

SMW uses Mode 7 quite frequently.
Here is where it uses them:

Iggy/Larry battle
Roy/Morton/Ludwig battle
Bowser battle

Also, yes, Carol has made a number of Mode 7 effects, too.
I doubt he's ever going to hand out useful information about Mode 7 on SMWC, though - which is what my goal is.

I've always been intrigued by Mode 7... Some kind of tutorial, or just any information on it at all would be sweeet

What is *mode 7*?
Mode7 is an SNES level mode that allows the system to rotate, stretch and create a perspective type of view without having individual GFX for everything. There are limitations though, like only being able to use the sprite layer ana layer 1. Super Mario Kart used Mode7. SMW used mode7 for the koopa kids bosses (exept wendy and, uhm, the other one), and for Bowser. SuperFX achieves the same thing, but is able to make use of all 3 layers. *points to Yoshi's island and Starfox*

I got bored last night and attempted to make a (semi) decent sprite. It's edited from a sprite ICB made, because I'm not experienced enough to make one from scratch. Here's a link to the video and a link to the download;

As the video shows, you throw the sprite at something and it spawns a sprite of your choice (Although, P-Switches act weird..). I made it so it uses 1 ASM file, so it won't use a very large amount of space. Customization instructions are in the ASM file.

Yeah, that's a really nice sprite you made Sonikku, it could be pretty useful. Nice job!

Today I made a timer sprite, which displays the number of seconds and minutes on the status bar. It resets once it reaches 60 minutes but I'll soon fix that.

Also, I made a small custom block that puts the special world flag ON and OFF with different sound effects. You can download that block here.
That timer sprite is neat! Will you submit it to the site? I've already found a good use for it. :P


 
I might release it sometime later on... but now I have to fix a small issue with it and make it to decrement as well.
