Yeah i know... I'm working on disabling that feature (Not because it's a bad feature by any means, but it looks wierd and isn't consistent with the games' other bosses.)
A couple of castle updates. The demo's nearly ready for beta-testing now: i've just got to finish the fortress and add a secret level.


Here's the top of the first elevator shaft. (There is another one, but it's tiny. Don;t worry)! Those blocks are solid, unless the on/off switch is off. (When it's off, the blocks go transparent).

But where is this on/off switch?

It's on floor two, 1 story above the lobby, and two above Morshu's room.


It's a bomb processing room!

I wish I could show you guys this room in motion, because the bombs on the conveyors on the top/bottom of the screen animate to follow the conveyors... It looks really awesome!

Next update shpuld either be the sub-boss or the finished level.
i really admire your hack.

Mouser's Bomb Factory (Or at elast, a bit of it).

This is just under half wa through the level. It is followed by a roof-top bit, which I don't show.

Yeah, finally a video! The Bomb Factory looks very cool, the bombs' animation is simply awesome. I hope, the music is not definitive, the hack will have beutiful custom music!
Oh hey, that's a pretty neat concept you have came up with! The level also seems to be quite unlinear, which is great. On a side note, I definitely LOVED the last room shown by that video... I loved how the Bob-Ombs scroll in there.

With the bob-bomb conveyor thing the idea just came to me... I'm surprised nobody's done it before.

Also, it would be neat if you showed us a video of the first level, since you redesigned it a while ago - I'm anxious to see how well it turned out since after the redesign. :3

Ah yes, I was going to do that.

I'm going to do playthroughs of all my levels (Seperate videos for secret exits) as a kind of walkthrough. I'll go make that video now.

I've managed to fix Morshu's message (I put the message on the wrong level. What a retard).

Also, I've got some shots of the roof top hop (That sounbds like a DKC level name) section.


You come up on an elevator.


Needless to say, there's a lot of jumping.


It's quite a long way down.

I would have put a para-bomb generator, but it unfortunately doesn't work with the elevator GFX. i might sacrfice the elevator to haeve parabombs.

What do you guys think?

I'd keep the elevator, it's cool and looks very neat. :)
As for the screenshots of the level, looks very interesting, looking forward to seeing more from ya. ;)

When I heard that you were going to release the demo soon, I thought, wait, what about the beta testers?. Seriously, are you ever going to let us beta test, or are you going to just release the demo?

Oh you'll definately beta-test first. The demo will be ready late this week/early next week.

Let's see...

5, not including NPC levels (4), and the unfinished levels which will be accesbile in the demo (12). If you count that there are 21 levels.

And that estimated release is for beta-testers only. remember the public demo will be released maybe the following day/s (Depending on how much needs fixing).

Yeah, guess just using the doors is ok, para bombs would make the level awesomer I guess aswell, yeah, para bombs it is. :3
