C:\ -> WINDOWS -> System32 -> cmd.exe. Copy that into the addmusic folder.
Where is the new verstion of the ow music inserter?
OK when I insert Track 15 in Yoshis Island there is no music.
You need to type

"addmusic smw.smc INIT"

and then tyoe

"addmusic smw.smc"

to get the music.
Dose anyone even know where the music inserter is?
HEY,LISTEN

It's in the tools section. But does anyone know how to get level music custom? I can only put in OW music (even with the Level Music inserter) =[

Its numbers 20-3F.
Here

And you type:

"addmusic smw.smc LEVEL"

to insert the level music, then go into Bypass Time Limit/Music, and set the level song to something from 20-3F to get it to work.
You have to make a new txt file and name it anywhere between 20-3F for it to be used in levels and do what s.n.n said.
HEY,LISTEN

I did that, and it still comes out as either no music. or no sound then crash >.< And if you have the creating/ editing tutorial, can you send it to me, the link isn't working =/

Your ROM must be 1 MB.
You have to expand it with Lunar Expand to 8 mbits.
HEY,LISTEN

Nevermind, I got it working. But I still need the Creating/ Editing Tutorial =/

Thats already been released. Look earlier in this thread.
HEY,LISTEN

It doesn't say it anywhere in this thread o.O And plus in the documents, it just downloads download.php.

Er, I guess it was in the request thread.
hello I just have 2 mini size problems that can probably be fixed.

I used a remade midi of Mega Man 3's intro and turned from midi-MML- text.. everything looks fine inside the text file but addmusic says the octave is to low have a look below

Try this edited version instead - just copy it back into your txt file. It may still sound off, because I have no references, but it will work now.

That's some .. really weird octave placements. Did you write this by hand, or convert it through tinymm, because I've never seen tinymm do something like that <_<
When I was looking through the ROM map I found this:

0474C $00:C54C Where the music is set when a POW finishes

Could we use this offset to fix the forever repeating POW music?
