What does this mean?

When I use Sprite tool, I get this:
************ERROR************
Your ROM must be expanded.
*****************************

What do I do?
That means you have to expand your rom <_<

What you should do is use LunarExpand, or just insert ExGFX to your rom to make LunarMagic do it automatically.
It means you've to expand the size of your Rom. This can be done with a tool named Lunar Expand (You can download this at the tools-section)
I would start with expanding it to 2MB, that should be enough for sprite-tool.
Are you trying to use Spritetool on an unmodified ROM? If so, just open it, move something around, save the level, and try again.

I put them in.
Now how do I insert them?
I tried Insert and put in the numbers I put for the sprites, and they turned to regular enemys already in the game. How do I put the sprites I added with Sprite tool in?
You need to set the extra info to 2 or 3 when inserting the sprite in LM (see the ASM file of the sprite for which one to use. To have the extra bit set, use 3). Also, remember that the sprite won't look like the custom sprite in LM, but like the normal sprite of the same number.

It worked, but even out of Lunar Magic, the sprite looks wrong.
I used the sprite called the Bullet Bro.
How do I fix it?
Look in the spritetool folder called "tilemaps" find the one called hammer bros or something. In the name it should say "SPX", with X bieng and number 1-4. remember that number. now copy that file over to your ExGrafic folder, and rename it to ExGFX--, With -- being a number 80-FF. Now open your rom in LM, and click the yellow mushroom. Now click on the Red Poison mushroom, and the click on the box that was said in the original name of the sprites gfx. Then your sprites should look right in an emulator.

No...
EVERYTHING (But the Blue sliding Koopa) looks wrong.
Even the custom sprite.
Now what?
Did you put the GFX file in the right slot?
GFX file? I thought it was an ExGFX file.
Yes, ExGFX, and it needs to bee put in on SP$, if I remember correctly. And you looked at it in an emulator, correct? Custom sprites won't look right in LM.

NOTE:
I need help...
How do I get non-hammer brother sprtes to work?
Like the custom Thwomp Boss?
And the Sledge Brother EX?
And the Half Life one?
Thwomp boss uses orignal GFX, but you can edit them to make it look different. Sledge Bro EX uses the Giant GFX found in the tilemaps area. The half-life, I do not know. It would either come with GFX, or you need to make your own.

The Thwomp boss comes with a readme, explaining exactly what you have to do in order to make it work.

One last question.
How do the shell and egg brothers' GFX work?
Shell bros on the site that are availible for download and Egg bros both change the hammer into another object ( I think). So unless you change the asm file of one of them, so that it uses a different object, you can't have them in the same level. Wait, no, there's also a shell brother that is included with spritetool. That one just uses normal shells flung at mario. The gfx for them is included with the spritetool folder "tilemaps" with the name hammerbro or something. They say SP"X", with X being the number that ExGFX needs be inserted with super GFX bypass.
