Hey Guys!
It's the first release,so don't think It'd be a perfect Version. ;D

F-Mario X News:C3 Thread Ahead!
By the way, I gaved up hacking SMW. I think I'll come back, but not yet. ~ X-King
It's a blessing when it comes to the interface.

Everything is organized, orderly, and easy to understand.

-Stats is a piece of cake
-Levels are more delicate, but easy to manuver about
-Scripts are easy-ish, pending on your knowledge of ASM (Just being aware of the existence of ASM makes the script editor easy to use)
-Sprites are a bit scary (I've never used sprites, but perhaps recoloring of GFX can be in order)

I'm going to play the flagship hack (Just to see what it's made of), and give feedback then.

Yeah, it's only 50% done, and this took me 2 hours to make it look good ....

Been a day and I'm only halfway done with editing room 1.
Tricky, but simple.

Now comes the time of frustrations.
How do I even add a sprite?

I have to know the above question as well... I couldn't figure how to.

Anyways, finally this is out. Sadly, it isn't a good hour to me.. My college starts at February. Time will be more short than what was last year.. I've just edited Room 1 and 2.. but many things I can't understand in the editor. Time will pass and I'll understand more, I could just do some small edits..

Update on usage:

Read the help file. It explains everything (albeit hard to understand)

I am currently making an outline of the Level editor, for ease of understanding (And to serve as a "Go to" guide for learning how to use the editor)

...I might as well make all the documentation. Least I can do for bringing up the hype.

Await the Level documentation in 1-2 days.
Sorry I'm uninformed, but what server is this #smrpg on?

@romscout: irc.badnik.net

Well the downside of this editor is the same with a lot of editors, you have to keep inside the rom's available bytes, and since it's already 4MB, you can't expand it :P

Oh well, it's still cool :D

Moved to SMRPG Hacking.
Now, learn how to use LSE.
i just lurk sometimes
Looks amazing so far. Unfortunately the only thing I can figure out how to operate are Stats =/
Is there anyway to make custom sprites aka new monsters?
1)How strongly do you feel about SMRPG hacking?
"I feel it's a good, fresh start for me, since I haven't done jack-squat with SMW that I could call a hack. Besides, I love SMRPG!"
2)Are you willing to know it well enough to give advice?
"Of course! You have to have tips to know what you are doing, right?"
3)Do you yourself have/had a hack in mind to make?
"Yes."
4)Can you haul your enthusiasm for the long run?
"Would HELL YES suffice?"
5)Can you devote 45min-1hr a day to learn Lazy Shell (LZ)?
"Please! Over the past week, I've spent at least an hour a day to figure it out."
6)Are you willing to write tutorials?
"If need be, yes."
7)Are you willing to advise others once you know the process?
"I'm not going to be a jack-ass, if that's your question."
Hey, I'm one of the authors.

Just wanted to let everyone who has asked a question know that rather than answering them here, I will be posting a bunch of how-to tutorials that walk through many of the things people are finding confusing.

1) I feel great!
2) Probably.
3) I've actually started one!
4) Yes!
5) Probably, during the summer yeah, but in the school year IDK.
6) I guess, if needed.
7) Well, I would help people out, but I won't just advise right away.

I hope to learn a lot, and I hope I could edit and/or add new sprites. It'll be cool to import 3D photos from other RPG's, like Final Fantasy.
