YES IT IS YOU EVIL MASTERMIND

lol jk. It is mean though.

I still maintain my belief that it's very creative and pretty-well polished, but the difficulty curve makes like no sense and it's so hard that people should bet on whether someone can beat it without slowdown (penangbenny, you owe me $50! =-P)
holy dear mother of christ this thing has been released
As someone who is fighting against the hack difficulty 'arms race' this kinda makes me sad. Not in the 'sad' sense but you know. It's like... it's like it's not meant to be played. Looking at a tas is impressive, but i just don't understand the fun in 'oh boy I has to use slowdowns! YEEEAAAHHHH!!!'
well when you put it that way...

AWESOME

It's meant to show unnoticable things used by springboards and shells as well as other items...

I'm not that evil...

(Yay I can use hyperlinks!!!)
This hack will never pass approval (if you ever want to submit it.)

1st of all, in the pictures, there a floating munchers. Already an instant disapproval and makes the you look lazy and uncreative (*me points to ExGFX section for floating mines*)

Ok, this hack is enjoyable, sure, but is unfair.

As stated, slowdowns and savestates are NOT fun to use. Sure, it helps you see what you miss, but we here at SMWC make hacks that are enjoyable, have a difficulty, but don't require you to use special tools that the normal snes won't let you use (aka slowdown + savestates).

Anyway, if you want to keep your hack like this, go back to youtube. Sure, most LP'ers would love to play this, but inside, they'd know it is an AWFUl hack, just used for more viewers and to entertain their audiences.

Also : Bad palettes are FTL

If you were tl;dr, then I am trying to say fix up your glitches and all, change difficulty, and if not, go back to youtube.

Just back here to browse a bit.

I already tried for my old old hack, and I know it won't pass.

Actually they aren't floating. Instead they are on a platform below, so it's isn't floating.

I don't feel like explaining it for the 5th time.

I know, but as the forum reads, this is to let you know you are releasing something, so if you ARE interested, you can click on certain links to check the hack out.

I am on both still nothing is stopping me. Many LP'ers have been wanting to play this and we are still waiting. Obviously it's an aweful hack by difficulty, and is mainly for entertainment purposes.

No duh

There aren't any "glitches" and changing the difficulty would just make this not even a hack. Needless to say, nothing to fix up.
First of all, you say you have no glitches.

Explain to me about the red buzzy beetle then. You cannot kill regular ones with fire, but you can kill this one with fire. Odd.

Also, you said the munchers aren't floating.

Clearly this muncher is on the ground.

And this one is clearly heat resistant.

This is definitely the cleverest kaizo-type hack there is, but its not gonna do well on a site like this. If you can take all the effort and cleverness that you put into this hack and put it into a hack that was more puzzle-oriented, it would be great. If you want to make an extremely hard hack and still have it be liked on this site, go for the extremely hard puzzle path. Requiring tricks like that is cool actually, but don't do it in do or die situations. I think you have a chance at making a really great, fun to play hack, just make it a little slower paced and add a little room for mistakes, polish it up a bit and you'd have a great hack on your hands. Still, this is definitely the most creative kaizo-type hack I've seen, I've only watched the videos because I'm not good enough to get very far in it, but it looks good. Keep going with hacking.

Alright, this may have floating munchers but I cannot provide a platform under since mario needs to shell-jump off the wall. How can I provide a platform under lava? Red buzzy beetles were used in other hacks and to me aren't really glitched. I'll keep these in mind for the sequel

Apparently you didn't understand when I said thi before. Downlaod the mines that replace the munchers. THey act the same, and you do not need ground under it.

Yeah, I didn't get that, but I just got it now. (The same mines that Illusion World used?) Plus I suck with ExGFX which is why I used the original graphics.
NOTE!!!

There has been a problem with the download for Springboard and Shells hack 1. So here is the real download link. (It is in .ips form)
Also, if that doesn't work, click on Panga and look at the bio.
