I'm just wondering what do you prefer to buy? A XP Or A Vista? I prefer a XP Because Vista Does no work with many programs and has a lot of bugs. | Nothing to put here at the time being. |
Thanks to Tom Servo for the awesome new layout! |
Windows XP or Vista?
XP is faster and easier to use IMO.
Vista is faster IMO, although Microsoft hasn't completely worked on products for vista lately. I have a vista and am happy
Although it doesn't matter which you prefer because now they don't even make XP anymore! XD

I have a Vista, and trust me.....
.....get an XP.

The only difference between Vista and XP is a little black bar at the bottom.
Although both have their advantages, i'd rather go for XP, easier to use, and has more of a varitey of programs that are compatible with it.
XP FTW!

XP. I had both XP and Vista at points, and I liked XP more... mainly because Vista redid everything causing various useful programs to be unusable or require downloads.

In my opinion, Windows XP is much better than Vista.
Vista has a lot of bugs and runs much slower than the XP...
In a way I'm getting kind of tired with all Microsoft computers though...It's always so slow...Maybe that's because I have at least twenty computer games loaded on my CPU...>_>

Vista, because that's what I use

Vista is awesome, don't get me wrong. But it has too much disadvantages where one would be TCP/IP networking, while XP has alot of security flaws. So yea, both of pros and cons actually.
Offtopic: I keep thinking that all the XP's are faces like that people make! XP (face mode)
Ontopic: Vista is just worse then XP right now. But over time, bigger and better programs will only be for vista, and then vista will be ftw!

How is that even a question?
Vista is the most broken OS I have ever used, and XP was the best. (I haven't gotten to know Apples to well, so they might be better though.)

How about we all stop arguing and get Apple Computers instead?
Apple thought of everything, they even made microsoft compatible with it, but at the same time has the running speed of an Apple computer. Plus, they're way more awesome and their ads on television make me laugh.
XP & APPLE FTW!

But Apple can't use Lunar Magic!!!! HHAHAHAHA I WIN (but I do)
OS X all the way. If it wasn't for LM, i'd have trashed my PC by now.
I think i did, though. It can't even run windows explorer anymore. XD

If you want to run office programs and emulators on a low end PC, or simply keep using old programs, use XP.
If you want to stay on the edge and play new games, use Vista.
Both systems have their flaws, but Vista's system is probably in the direction where Microsoft is heading with their next OS releases. It has loads of features, most of which are unnecessary, but just turn them off (for the love of all that is holy disable UAC). Some of them are pretty nice (such as start search or the eyecandy).
The main reason to still use XP is backwards compatibility, but I've had very few problems with Vista the way I've used it.
