Million sprites in 3-8 for no apparent reason

Why are there like a million sprites scattered everywhere in Eggvine whenever I edit 3-8!? Seriously, HOW CAN I PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING!? Can SOMEONE HELP ME ON THIS!?
Because that is the way Eggvine displays sewer levels which makes it the most annoying tileset to work with. Stay away from making sewer levels unless you have a lot of patience.
Well I mean, something weird is happening with 3-8 Main, as in the sprite byte limit dramatically changed from 0/0 to 3312/3312!!! How can I REALLY avoid causing this to occur!? I'm afraid that this is ABSOLUTELY causing me to like withdraw from Yoshi's Island Modding...

I got that alot in my old hack, i nicknamed it Sprite Overload, due to the horric amounts of spirtes.

It basically happens when you change from one level to another after saving, and come back with heaps of sprites from nowhere. So far, the only cure i have found is to get a new YI Rom, because you have ... how would you say it ... a 'dirty' ROM. After that, i had no troubles with eggvine.

But for you, you're up to 3-8 i presume, so this will most likely drain the eggvine out of you, unless you're pretty dedicated.
Rule #33 of Yi hacking:

Before taking a break to look at things that follow rule #34, ALWAYS make a backup.
I have about 50 backups of my YI hack. Backups are your best friend ;)
Your layout has been removed.
You'd be better off repointing the 3-8 main entrance to a different entry and starting the level from there. If "3-8: Main" is the only level that is corrupting, then chances are likely that you can get away with leaving it out.

Also, this sounds like a level expansion problem to me. Not sure how often you expand levels, or if you even do, but I used to get this error quite a bit with expanding. It usually means the level is pointing to invalid data.
