Alright. I'll admit that learning how to edit ASM is rather tedious for me, as programming isn't really much of my forte. (I don't have much time or patience to learn about it all anyways due to college.) So, I'd like to request the following disassemblies for the following SMW sprites (in order from most wanted to least wanted):
Urchin: I'm interested in making a rideable variant of the wall-following Urchins (that follow surfaces like a Lil' Sparky or Hothead), and by rideable, I mean that Mario can ride on top of it (like a Mega Mole), but could still be damaged by it when touched from below or from the sides.
Dry Bones: I'd like to know what makes Dry Bones, and Bony Beetles, fall apart when jumped on, and reform after a set period of time. I'd like to then apply that scripting to other enemies to create new, unique enemies (like a skeletal kangaroo-like enemy).
Dino Torch: The fact that they chase after Mario and will jump over terrain to reach him makes me want to create small (16x16 pixel) enemies that pursue Mario in a similar way (though without the fire breathing) while using this sprite as a base. Now if only I could figure out how to keep them from breathing fire...
Torpedo Ted & Launcher: Like the Urchin, I'd like to create a rideable variant that, like a Mega Mole, could be ridden on, yet would damage Mario when hit from below or either side. I'd probably turn the sprites into some sort of missile-like enemy when used out of water.
Edit: I just read at the beginning of this thread (after making this post) that I can only post one request at a time. If that is true, then could I just limit it down to just the Urchin sprite for now, then request for the others individually later on?
