You heard me. Brag/whine about the awesomeness/crappiness of your computer here!

As for me:

CPU: Core 2 Duo E8200 @ 2.67 GHz
RAM: 4 GB PC6400 DDR2 RAM
HDD: 500 GB SATAII harddisk
DVD: 20x DVD+/-RW SATA optical drive
GFX: GeForce 8600 GT w/ 256 MB DDR2 RAM
OS : Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit

Everything is held together by a G33M MicroATX motherboard by MSI, and housed in an Antec Minuet case. Mine is standing vertically, unlike the one on the picture. The best thing about it is that it's only half as wide, and probably just 75% as tall as a regular mini tower. I built it myself, of course. It's only a couple of months old.
Oh dear.

Dell Inspiron E1505
CPU: Core Duo Whocareswhatchipset @ 1.73 GHz
RAM: 2GB no idea RAM
HDD: 100 GB no idea what
DVD/CD Drive: Don't even know
GFX: ATI Mobility Radeon x1400, 128MB
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit

Last time I buy a computer from some company, $1,200 for a poop.
Worst thing is it runs at 70 Celsius on average.
Celeron Dual core e1200 1.60ghz- OC'd to 2.30ghz

Gigabyte 868I LGA 775 mobo- FSB 1600mhz

Memory is at 786mb DDR-RAM DDR400

HDD is Maxtor Maxline 2 @250gigs

HDD 2 has 160gigs is seagate

Video Card has a ATI Rage pro fury 3 at 128mb ddr.

Using Windows Vista ultimate
Right now trying to get readjusted to the new OS.
I hate vista so far to no end, maybe thats why I keep the XP in my user name to say I love XP pro.

ATI HDTV tuner card works with local channels only.... >_>

TVP3XP tuner card with MPEG 1 and 2 recording capabilities at high speed via through CPU.

Do it your damnself flash drives "Make your own flash drive" memory card on one of them is 4gb

DVD-CDRW combo drive max burn speed is at 48X

DVD-RW,RAM Drive, DL drive max speed 52X

Earlier this year I had a Celeron D 347 it was quite fast but was not able to keep with the sort of stuff I worked on home. example 2 movies encoding, music data creation with sonar 4 and Paint shop pro 9.
Newegg.com had a great deal on the dual cpu and had a contest going on at the time, apparently I came in 3rd and they wanted to give me a new AMD X2 3400+ with some crap like motherboard.
I told them no and to give me the 48.99 celeron dual core cpu.

As of right now it runs great except for vista keeps screwing these up I will get ready to go home to XP Pro sp3.

I have 2 computers, a desktop and a laptop.

My desktop:

Packard Bell iStart 2380UK which I bought last year when I still lived in the UK, it's specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 AM2 socket (sorry I don't know its model and speed)
2GB DDR2 Hynix memory
160GB Seagate SATA 7200.9 ST3160212AS due to be upgraded to 500GB Seagate SATA soon
Nvidia Geforce Graphics and Nforce chipset onboard graphics
Asus motherboard
17" TFT monitor 1280x1024 resolution
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit

That is my computer that I plan to use for ROM hacking.

My laptop:

Compaq Presario F700 (HP)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-53 1.6GHz
2GB RAM
200GB HDD
inbuilt wireless
Nvidia GeForce 7000M and Nforce 610M chipset
15.4" screen with 1280x800 resolution
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit
Erm, let's see here. My little laptop here...

37.2 GB Hard Drive
Intel Pentium M processor (at 1.6 GHz)
1 GB of RAM
and a DVD/CD-RW drive that is... 52x capable I think.

It's not much of a high tech computer but it always gets the job done. It hasn't failed me yet and I hope it never crashes.
I made a standalone game once, look for Seabug Stampede on Google Play.

err.. let's see..my notebook(Vostro) specs

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2 GHz
2 Gb of RAM
160 GB on HD
NVidia GeForce 8400M GS w/ 128Mb

I used to have a Pony (I forget which one.) that (I think) had:
-512 MHz
-640 MB RAM
-80 GB HD (I only used about 10....)

Now I have an IBM ThinkPad R51 with the following specs:
-1 GHz (This is the best thing about it!)
-512 MB RAM (Who cares?)
-80 GB HD (Again?)
-5 hours battery life.
Mobo : Gigabyte P35-DS3R
CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz
RAM : 2GB (4x512MB) Kingston DDR2 @ 667MHz
Graphic Card : nVidia GeForce 8500GT 512MB
HDD 1 (Internal/System) : Maxtor 200GB @ 7200RPM (HDD from 2005 lol)
HDD 2 (External) : LaCie 250GB USB 2.0 @ 7200RPM
HDD 3 (Internal) : Western Digital 500GB @ 7200RPM
CD/DVD Drive : LG GSA-H22N
Audio : On-board
Network 1 : On-board 1Gbits
Network 2 : Realtek 100Mbits
Printer : Samsung ML-2010
Monitor : Viewsonic Optiquest Q241wb (Max Res.: 1920x1200 = Full HD but no HDMI :( ... only DVI-D )
OS : Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bits <3

I'm currently the one that has the most Hard drive space on SMWC XD
I also LOVE Windows Vista despite his cons.
Biggest monitor on herrrrre!

Oh and... Speedtest.net :D

Habitually, I get a little more dl speed but I guess it's in the best I get.

I'm really hoping that's an exaggeration, or there's something seriously wrong.
I don't remember the exact hardware I've got in here, nor do I care to check, but I have 1.2 gigs of ram, 400 GB of hard drive space, and I dual boot Windows Vista and Linux Fedora 9.
You can lead a horse to water, and then you could totally drown it or something.
While 70 degrees Celsius is a quite high average temperature, it isn't uncommon to see at times where the computer is working hard, for example when playing games. This, again, depends on your hardware configuration.

I would probably make sure that my computer has adequate room around it so that no vents are blocked, that it isn't too dusty inside it, that the fans are perfoming as they should, etc.
One question, when is the last time you replaced your thermal grease or thermal compound on your cpu ?
If it's been at least over a year and your cpu reaches that high of tempature, your cpu isn't going to hold out for to much longer, especially if your room tempature is at around 82 degrees or higher.

If you can have a friend help you who knows anything about pc's and have him reapply some new grease.
Try artic silver 5 which goes for about 4.99 in a computer shop and try a better heat sink fan for that Pentium 4.

Once you do that your system will perform like Niagra falls minus the noise of water!

If I had a mega hertz for every gallon of water falling at Niagara Falls...
I ended up cleaning some dust out of the bottom end of the vents, changing the fan settings, and tweaking other things. It runs much cooler now :D

I can't be arsed to change my grease on this craptop, and I'm gonna grab some parts for a custom rig once the prices go down a little, so it's all good.
