I have anotherquestion, where in the Overworld editor can I find the tiles for wall sitting on ground? All I see on the right is wall sitting on water...
how do you insert new blocks?i forgot.
What do you mean by "new" blocks? Like, ones you downloaded or just ones from blocktool? It the latter's the case, it's easy.
(This must be done in this specific order or blocktool will get all emo due to retarded programming.)
Open your rom.
Click "add block."
Pick the block you want.
Now, open up your rom in LM.
Go to the map16 editor.
Find a free space that is ABOVE PAGE 3.
When you have it, open up the computer's calculator (or your own, if it's scientific.)
Click hexidecimal.
Put in your "free space" number (I.E. 423, 5C7, 8AB, etc.)
Click decimal.
That number you see is what you put in the "map16 number" section.
Click ok.
Save the rom.
Ta-da!

VW:
Look harder, and also try different palettes. That tile you see may be the one, just with a different palette.
Ok, quick question:
What are the offsets for the teleport and goal blocks in blocktool? cuz i accidentally erased the data for them, and I need it back.

Okies, I wanna insert the Punch sprite... That's dandy and all, but I dunno where to find this "status condition" sprite... Any suggestions?
What? Why don't I have a fancy post layout? Pah, who needs an eyesore like that?
I was wondering, where do I find one way blocks? I didn't see them in the custom blocks list, are they already in the game?
Here's a quick (and likely stupid) question. What's the Hex Code for a standard "?" Block? I'm trying to create blocks that will spawn different sprites via Block Tool, but haven't seen the base code for it anywhere.
HELP!

I open the rom in block tool, and then i save the blocks to the rom.
i put the appropriate map 16 #s and they dont come up on lunar magic!

HELP!
Damn. I didnt know ocelot wasnt left handed.

@Albino Chao: Schwa removed them, since his hack was canceled. They might still be lurking around somewhere, though.

@VW: It is included with the regular Blocktool. I think it's called "1WAYR.bin" or something like that.

@Revolver Ocelot: Have you tryed inserting the block you put in (Via Direct Map16 Access) and seeing if it works in-game. Blocks don't always generate Lunar Magic tooltips. If that fails, try inserting the block again, or using Smkdan's blocktool.

Also, it is possible that they ARE being inserted, but not in the right place. While Lunar Magic's Map16 editor uses Hex notation, blocktool uses decimal notation. This means that if, say, you wanted blocktool onto tile #400 in the map16, you would need to convert that to DECIMAL. To do this, open Calculator on your computer, go to scientific mode, and select "Hex". Then, type in "400." Finally, click on "Dec" after that, and the number it changes to will be the number you use in blocktool. (in this case, 400 in hex is 1024 in decimal.)
Oh my god Thank you so much Para buzzy,

Your a big help.
Damn. I didnt know ocelot wasnt left handed.

I was wondering, where can I find the block which is only breakable when hit with a fireball? I don't see it anywhere... :/

It's called "Frozen Block", you can find it on BlockTool. There are also some variations, as the "Frozen Muncher" and the "Frozen Coin".

Thanks!
I need help with Spritetool. I inserted the hammer bro sprite and used the correct ExGFX file, but it still looks garbled. Just garbled with different graphics.

EDIT: I forgot to add that it looks garbled when I actually play the game, not just in LM.
This is a bit of an odd question, I was wondering. Say for example you were using Mario's Sprite set from SMB3 (SMAS). His jump animation is standard Mario Jump. Now, when you pick up a star, his jump animation will change into a sort of mid air roll, instead of a normal jump. Would it be possible to use this animation as Mario's normal jump animation, without the invincibility flash?

I'm assuming a couple of things here. Firstly, I'm assuming that Mario's jump arc isn't altered in the process of invincibility. I have no idea if it is, haven't tested, but I couldn't imagine it to be so. Also, I'm assuming Nintendo were lazy enough to make invincibility an over effect, instead of keeping the invincible animation absolute.

Anyone know anything on the subject? As long as Mario's jump arc is the same, I can't imagine it to be much of a problem, it just depends on how the invincibility flash is animated. Any input would be appreciated.

Hey! What do you think you're doing here? This area is reserved for old posts only. Why don't you mind your own business for once?

...Okay, call me a n00b all you want, but can someone PLEASE tell me how spritetool works? All I get is this weird black box asking questions to me, like, what is the file directory of your ROM and stuff. Is it supposed to be like that? I see programs like this all the time and I just assume I don't have the right kind of computer for them. But if it's supposed to be like that, HELP!

Yes, it's supposed to be like that. Also, there's a readme with sprite tool. If you don't understand, go to the documents section, there's a easy Sprite Tool Tutorial.
Your layout has been removed.
Can someone make a block that when touched, gives Yoshi wings?

I'm no good at making blocks.
I made a brick act like a smashable block. So when big mario hits it, it smashes. But when small mario hits it, the turn block bounce appears. How can I make it so that, when small mario hits it, the bounce block of the brick appears instead of the turn block bounce one? This has really been bugging me with several blocks, so please help me with it.
