For me, it would have to be the Playstation 4. I also like the PS5, but I don't have many games on there that isn't PS4 games. Had that since 2018. There were a lot of games I enjoyed on there such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Trials of Mana, Megadimension Neptunia VII, Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 goddesses online, Burnout Paradise Remastered, Yakuza 0, Spider-Man PS4, Saints Row The Third Remastered, Sonic Mania, Ghost of Tsushima, and Borderlands 2. Just to name some.

nice. the ps4 is pretty cool.
yeah im an umbreon, got a problem?

I'd have to go with playstation 3. It had games I like, like Minecraft, Metal Gear Solid (not the nes one), it also had the all-stars game which is a meh. Even Littlebigplanet is another favorite. There were good games on that system.

Favorite Old console? N64, because It had super mario 64. That's all you need to know.

PC, since you can even emulate most other consoles with it

For me personally, the SNES had the strongest lineup of games overall; Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Terranigma, Live-A-Live, Puzzle Bobble, SimCity, ActRaiser, Tetris Attack, the DKC trilogy, both Castlevania games, ugh. The list goes on and on.

yeah the snes probably does have one of the best lineups. so many fantastic games for that system.

This is definitely a difficult question for me to answer. There have been a lot of consoles I've enjoyed & loved over the years.

It could be the SNES, home of Super Mario World and the spark of my Super Mario creative career. It could also be the GameCube or PlayStation 2, both of which were my first ever home consoles, with many fantastic games on the both of them, such as Kirby Air Ride and Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. It perhaps could also be the 3DS, home to my most played Smash Brothers game, as well as my first venture into the Hatsune Miku rhythm game serious. I might even pick the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4, both places where I've made a lot of friends through quite a few online games, and started to heavily invest my time into the Project Diva series, which just reinforced my love for Miku & Vocaloids as a whole.

My entire life has been centered around video game consoles. It's extremely difficult to just pick one. But if I absolutely had to pick one, Id say it would be a tie between the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation 4. All three of these consoles have given me the most beautiful memories out of all the consoles I've discussed, memories that I will never forget.

Greetings. My name is Blake Izayoi. I love Sakuya very much.
I enjoy Super Mario World, Touhou, and Vocaloid.
Have a good day.

NES, SNES and N64...
Oh, what did you ask—[checks thread title]
“YAAAARGH!!! I can’t decide! I just can’t decide!!”

I don't have anything to say this, but, as a Master Wordsmith, it's very difficult which game console is my favorite. So here's my personal picks:
  • Turbografx-16 / PC-Engine
And if you think the PCE isn't good enough, then you'll just get a load of PC-Engine CD (a.k.a. Turbografx-CD) add-on, which is said to be FIRST ever video game CD add-on in the world. The PCE-CD featured a bunch of way cool games like Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams (which turned 30 last year!), Galaxy Fräulein Yuna (created by Mika Akitaka, the guy behind the Gundam anime shows!), and, my personal favorites, the Puyo Puyo/Madou Monogatari PCE-CD games. Better start learning Japanese, folks! Most of them are released ONLY in Japan!
  • Super Nintendo Entertainment System / Super Famicom
Ironically, I had this console a while back when I was a kid, but for me, the SNES is my heart and soul of gaming. The SNES featured a bunch of games like Super Mario World (duh), Star Fox, Super Street Fighter 2, Final Fantasy IV, F-ZERO, and some hidden gems like Plok and Umihara Kawase.
  • Sega Saturn
“Sega Saturn, shiro!” If you wish you want to try out the Saturn, I suggest you to play NiGHTS Into Dreams..., ports of various SEGA titles like Daytona USA and Sega Rally Championship, and, of course, Sakura Wars. Heck, you might consider checking out the Sega Saturn Madou Monogatari game as well! Too bad, the Sega Saturn didn't get fame outside of Japan unlike what the Sega Genesis did, it's still good as it gets!
  • Nintendo Switch
Really? What's the point? Well, the Switch is the most powerful console, and there are so many games that're available for the Switch—it could be either a console-exclusive or a port of a game from every other platform. Nonetheless, you should go ahead and pick up the Switch, and try out some way cool games Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 and Puyo Puyo Champions!

My Personal favorite Consoles are:

-Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch is One of my favorites because It has a pretty decent selection of games, and is so portable. As you might of noticed with my list, portable is kind of the trend you see here. Also, the Switch has really good graphics, and is easy to use.

-DS Lite
I like the DS because it has the GBA Chip Slot as well as the DS slot, and an plug for headphones and earbuds. The DS is really cool because of how easy to use it is, and because you can play Multiplayer Online and Local without Internet, using Download Play and other In-Game Features. Ive Had a DS Since 2010, and Its been so much fun to play.

-Gameboy Advance
The Gameboy Advance brings back a lot of memories for me. The Games I used to play were Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario Land, and Pokémon Red, Mostly. My dad gave me his Gameboy advance in 2009, And I've been using it ever since. It brings back lot of memories for me, and Im really fond of the console, and its games.

PlayStation 4 and SNES
How could I decide between the Wii and PlayStation?

One has some of the best legacy content I've ever seen, the other has an incomprehensible variety to its library. One brings back endless nostalgia, the other introduced me to so many games I've come to adore. One has Sonic Unleashed and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the other has Final Fantasy VII and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

I'm not sure I'll ever come to a conclusion, but at least we're in a world with both.
I'll have to hand that award to the SNES. It has my top three favorite games on it (Donkey Kong Country 2, Yoshi's Island, and Super Mario World), with the Wii trailing in second, and the Switch coming in third.

The original Nintendo.
Granted, I play a LOT more on Super Nintendo, but hear me out:
Back in the 80s and early 90s, there weren't a lot as far as what games are 'supposed' to be like, no set 'rules' to making them existed yet; so programmers would just kind of wing-it and make whatever seemed fun and could work using the hardware limitations they were given.
A lot of these early games required the player to be imaginative, as not all of the graphics were easily recognizable for what they were, and I find that just admirable that they were able to make so many good games with the limited hardware capabilities they had at the time. I grew up playing a lot of these early games on Nintendo, so that might have a little to do with it; but I'm not being biased. They were really creative back in this era, and had to be way moreso to create fun games to play. Any console on up they had way more potential already, but on the original Nintendo they really didn't have much to work with, forcing designers to think outside the box when coming up with these original ideas. I find it quite admirable.
well, I can say without a doubt that the Wii U is my favorite console, maybe it was a total failure in sales, but I must admit that it was always a great console.

it had great games like Super Mario 3D World, Mario Maker, Mario Kart 8, etc. And if that wasn't enough, you could play any retro game with no problem, including some like the GameCube and Wii.

although I never had a Wii U due to lack of money, as far as I tried it the few times, I can say that it is a great console and that if I ever have a moment in my life to buy it, I will.
Practicing level design... with the keyboard malfunctioning
Favorite of all time? That's really tough. The SNES was amazing, but the NES started it all for me. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Dreamcast as well.
