Its a nice feature I must agree with!

There was also seemed to be sprite issues towards the end of Donut Plains 1, but hopefully these are just issues when playing it on real hardware.
Aw man what? I'll check and see what's going on.
Originally posted by DeppySlideIn any case, what I did try was neat! Like I said, it's a nice way to go through the original game all over again, and I did notice the changes from SMA2.
Thanks 😊
Originally posted by MurphmarioI was actually working on a SMW hack that had the similar goal of enhancing it, though yours blows mine out of the water. Nice job!
Also, the P-Balloon in Donut Secret 1 is a white square. Dunno if this affects any other P-Balloons, but just something I noticed. And the door located at Donut Ghost House's secret exit is still miscolored like in the original game.
Edit: Also, was
the Big Boo Boss moved or something. Feels weird not seeing it in it's original level.
Edit 2: The game crashed when I tried to eat a Roulette Power-Up while riding Yoshi.
The p balloon and roulette glitch has also come to my attention from someone else. How strange... I'll check up on it. Also yes on that spoiler lol. Here's to hoping it function in the area it's on now. As for the miscolored Donut Ghost House 1 door in the secret exit, I never actually thought for it to be a mistake... huh. Guess I can change it for consistency.

Seriously tho this is kind of a unique take on "SMW but better".
Hahahaha, insert Captain America I got that reference meme! Thanks man!
Originally posted by FireSeraphimI loved what you have done with both games in the music department, even thought I didn't really notice any changes to SMB2's music but to be fair I was playing SMAS very briefly.
I was kinda hoping that all the purely underground sections in SMAS SMB2 would have their music replaced with the beta underground theme and I was hoping all the inside the pot sections of SMB2 would have played SMA SMB2's bonus room theme but I suppose SMAS is already a hard nut to crack.
Already mentioned on discord but yeah, there was not much flexibility I could do on that game iirc. Editing one theme would replace all instances of that one songs so while for example on w1-2 I could put the bonus theme inside the tubes, then the bonus theme would also play inside the door of that level. Music changes on the other games followed the theme/type of levels as well so I only made changes to the levels I thought were necessary. SMBLL has a lot more theme changes in its levels throughout than SMB1 so I'm sure more people may now enjoy that game. Same for SMB3, its more like sma4 (BONUS ROOMS!!! WOOH!) now with the inclusion of a Desert, Forest, and Snow theme.
Originally posted by KevinMThis looks pretty cool, I'm glad I was able to help for the Yoshi hack!
Dude idk if you have any idea how massive help you were outside of your DMs! Like, your Red Yoshi code was adapted for ALL colored Yoshis. For reals man, thanks!!! 🙏 Especially on that last minute amk fix!!!
Originally posted by AramLemmy's Castle is literally and physically impossible to beat, as once you enter, the whole screen is filled in a red layer, making this completly unbeatable.
God fucking damn... I recall getting this glitch in Bowser's fight but that was due to using some HDMA channel that sa1 has edited now... I THINK it may be the magikoopa palette correction patch if it does happen to use any hdma channels... (or was it DMA? Hmmm). Thanks, I'll see what's up.
Originally posted by qantuumOh, that looks interesting so far!
I'm not playing the things now but I have a feeling I will enjoy the new soundtrack and the QoL changes. Thanks a lot for these!
Lemme know if you ever get the time! Def wanna hear yur thoughts!

I was amazed on the Yoshi Island #4 level background!
Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks! The Iggy graphics were done by me, glad ya loved his new look (well the hair was a correction patch not by me)! ANd yeah, I loved that bg, there's other beta bg scattered throughout some levels, hope you enjoy their inclusion!
Originally posted by Stivinice, now i can replay the game, again.
Lol hopefully it feels more complete this time hahaha (after I sort out the bugs *cries*).
Originally posted by HammerGuyFinally someone addressed the oddity of "Autumn Mode" not touching the level palettes.
Odd indeed, like wtf Nintendo... This task was a painstaking colossal one (time wise) but damn as it worth it! I've been told people love the new palettes. This was my first time doing custom palettes so I hope you guys happen to love em just like others have told me while testing!
Originally posted by MoltzThe hardmode on the anniversary edition is quite fun! Haven't checked the SMAS hack yet, but that one is also looking quite
neat!
Thanks! It was nice adding some goals and rewards to said goals to maximize replay value as well as add subtle changes throughout to help keep the game a little fresh!
Originally posted by KlugGreat, now I can play Super Mario World all over again, for real.
If we can make this bug free (ish), I hope this will become the definitive version people come to play! Let's make it happen!

First noted and second I swear... there has to be something going on with the new sa1 update...
Originally posted by MORCThis is something I always wanted to see, though there is still some details here and there I would've done in a different way.
Just as a warning, it crashed when I tried going to sublevels in Yoshi's Island 3 and Donut Plains 2.
Thanks! Noted.
Wow... this kinda blew me outta the water in what I was thinking. I really didn't think I'd get this kind of feedback and activity since I'm the guy people know for releasing monster OSTs with their sfx and extra stuff. I was worried releasing romhacks (and not even romhack "out there") would not get that much attentions since aside from my smwc activity, I'm sort of a nobody lol (probablly jinxing myself here and now activity will decline as C3 goes on haha). I can't thank you guys enough for the love you guys have shown my romhacks so far! Hopefully we can fix these bugs and polish it so it can be enjoyed as it was meant to be!
If I may ask, everyone who's posted bugs, what emulators are you guys using? I tested this with the latest version of BSNES and so did
yoshifanatic and while he did showcase a shit ton of bugs initially, non of these were said bugs. :MegaThonk:
