I think you should remove the outlines from the filler tile crystals, and i'm not even sure about the minecraft ores... they clash with the crystals next to them i feel. But mostly because of the outline too. This applies to the filler chuck rocks in the previous levels too, they're pretty distracting.

Benny Harvey RIP, miss you big man.

Rock-Candy Mine Castle: Caved-in Fortress

The castle of Rock-Candy Mine. Average castle stage...the second half has a snake block section.
Now onto a new world: World C, Pineapple Shore! I wonder where I've heard that name before...

Pineapple Shore 1: Unsure Seashore

A bright beach stage that features big Urchins, crabs, and various other sea creatures.

You mean something like this?

How many worlds are planned in this hack? 7? 8?

13. 6 submaps, 7 main worlds. I mentioned that on a recent post. I think.

yeah, this looks nice, and i like that cave gimmick!

Benny Harvey RIP, miss you big man.

Showing off some of World A's castle:

Cherry Blossom Village Castle: Imperial Stronghold

just realized you can see the mouse at the beginning cringe

An oriental-ish themed castle that takes place at night. It mainly uses exploding platforms...which look like flowers for some reason?!

I like the gimmick for this level, as well as all the different types of platforms used here. I am curious if the clouds could be moved to the background, as they seem out of place in front of the trees. Other than that, I am looking forward to this! #smw{:TUP:}
Thanks for the feedback!

Anyway, it's time to show a new level, in a new world:
Pepper Woods 1: Treetop Trial

The first stage of World B!
...It’s another bramble stage. Pretty self-explanatory--uses brambles, moving platforms, Volcano Lotuses.

I remember playing a demo of this hack awhile back glad to see it's still being worked on.

You are challenged by Champion Daisy!

LAYOUT FOOTER:
Epic_Manky this is very good I can't wait to play this hack from Super Mario Other World

Did that one koopa turn into an exploding vine???

allow shy guy emojis in post footers you cowards!

That's just a graphical error...the Blue Parakoopas use the vine graphics for some reason and I just never bothered to correct it. >_>

The brambles destroy sprites.

Pepper Woods 2: Bubbly Bog

A swamp stage that uses Fling Blocks, which boost Mario upward. While they're spinning, nothing can interact with them until Mario touches land, so jump carefully! Uses Whimps, Piranha Plants, Boos, and a new enemy: the Bopping Toady!

the swamp stage is very good in your hack
New stage alert!

Pepper Woods 3: Fungi Forest Frolic

As the name might suggest, this stage uses mushroom platforms. Normal 'shrooms, bouncy 'shrooms, scale 'shrooms...they're all used here!

Pepper Woods 4: The Cutting-Wood Floor

Watch out for Grinders! This stage mainly uses Grinders that cut through brittle logs. Features Wigglers and Volcano Lotuses.
Also fun fact, this stage was inspired by Watermelon Secret 1 from the unfinished SMW hack, Lunar Legends.

And that concludes Pepper Woods. There are 2 Worlds left...though I should show off a few more stages before getting to those.

Did you just named your level after a website that's dedicated to unused/cut content? I bet a lot people will ever, EVER notice this while playing.

Anyway, great level, dood!

Yep. Glad someone got the reference.
And thanks!

Looking good so far! I really like the aesthetic in Pepper Woods 4 (as you'd expect, lol), but most of the Super Koopas are 2-3 tiles too low to be a threat so it might be worth experimenting a bit more with their placement. Pepper Woods 3 also looks nice, only suggestion I have is giving the bouncy shrooms different graphics on top of the red palette to help them stand out further from the regular platforms.

Oh, I wasn't actually expecting to see you here! Thanks for the feedback, I went and updated the bouncy 'shroom graphics like you suggested:

These were made to more resemble the bouncy mushrooms from NSMBDS.
