Decomp help

I'm working with the decomp and there's a few things I've been having trouble with.

One, is it possible to replace the 3D Star model with a 2D sprite? If so, how?

Two, how do I properly replace sound files? Every time I insert my own custom .aiff files it gives me a makefile error.

And finally, how can I replace Mario's triple jump with the spin jump that he does when jumping on a Fly Guy or Spindrift?

If anyone can help me, that would be great. Thank you!

I have a suggestion for your 2nd question. Try using .WAV files in the sound tool. I don't think it can import .AIFF files

IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?

Already figured it out, and I'm not using the sound tool, I'm using the decomp. The decomp ROMs aren't compatible with any external editing tool.

the AIFF has to be mono and the same length as the file you're replacing.
