Cutscenes

How would i go about making these? I don't mean like fancy ones that have never been done before, I mean like the ones where text appears, and you have to press a certain button to continue. I know this is possible, I've seen many hacks with them used before.

More specifically, I'd like to know how to do the following things:

MOST IMPORTANT, How does he teleport? What sprite or block is used to teleport mario? I really need to find out, so any help would be appreciated.

Adding the text: I've looked into Lunar Magic on some hacks that use cutscenes (guilty, if that is looked down upon, I'm sorry, I won't do it again) and i noticed that the text is inserted as layer 2 and layer 1 objects, um, why? How do i decide which one goes where?

Status bar: How does it dissapear? Do I change the pallette or something, if that's the case, where is it on the pallette of the status bar in the lunar magic pallette editor (the weird star).

FG/BG Init position: Tell me, it seems important.

Marios Position when the level begins.

How to stop the screen from scrolling up to mario.

And any other tips people can give me, I'd really appreciate it, thanks to anyone in advance, I really need to know.
The cutscenes are made by yourself. Each user have his/her own method. About the Teleport block, you can find it in Custom Blocks section (I don´t remember if it is included in Sprite Tool).

To the cutscenes, try to "play" with Custom Blocks, like "Left/Right movement fast", or others.

The status bar doesn´t dissapear. Its just a "palette game".

I hope this help you.

P.D. Thanks for supporting my hack :)
Mega Mario:
Np, and looking through the blocks that come with block tool, I can actually think of a few ways to pull this off. But the problem with the text still remains, no matter what i try, it doesn't end up very good.
Just create your own text or use my ExGFX. I'll be uploading my own special text in the ExGFX section soon.

little error, its blocktool and its included, its really easy make the cutscenes
1- Letters
make a ExGFX file With the letters (if you want decorations you can do another ExGFX file with the decorations)
2- Text
put in the 16x16 editor and put the letters (make two pairs of letters like this

now you put the text in the editor
put the first letter of the text (i like put this letter in layer 1)
the next letter put in the layer 2, in layer 2 also you can put the decorations
heres some screenshots of the layers with a complete cutscene
------------layer 1-------------------

--------------------------------------
------------layer 2-------------------

--------------------------------------
---------layer 1 and 2----------------

--------------------------------------
3- palletes
this is really simple, only remplace this colors

with the bg color
4- mario placement
put No vertical scroll and put mario out of screen and put mario like this

up of mario its a teleport block
and that is all, i hope this will help
I do pixels sometimes
why do you need to have the layers of the level alternate?
Your layout has been removed.
Thank you SOOOO much Anonimatio, that helped a lot =).

So that you can have all the text you need with only two map16 objects for each letter.

I noticed that cutscenes from SMW The Second Reality Project Reloaded used the X button to teleport.

Do you know how this works?

There is also one in TSRPR when you press X at the end, it takes you back to the Title Screen.

How?
Never done this myself, but there are custom blocks that only teleport you when you press a button, by that logic, it seems possible to code a custom block that will only teleport you when you press X.
I have a hack thread - Link (Now with a demo!)
Also a music thread - Link
