I've been planning on port this soundtrack with a LOT of accuracy, especially because one of its main features is that not only its the only NES game that uses FM synthesis as the entire music, but because I wanted some challenge to port as accurate as possible, and make all the samples being very high quality as well.

Important note that I will only submit them on the music section once I finish the soundtrack. (to make things more organized on the submissions)

Here we go the songs finished so far:

Theme of Isis - Opening
Find Stolte/ Searching for Shutolte
Wandering Journey
These ports sound quite promising especially since you only started a few days before C3.
I'm really looking forward to you releasing the entire OST in the section. These tracks sound pretty great for being NES songs. #tb{:D}

I didn't know the NES had a game that fully used FM synthesis for the music, so this is hella fascinating. All the ports sound good so far, I look forward to hearing more from this project!
These ports are really promising! Hope to see the soundtrack done soon, great work!
Just some Ys fan lol
As Sariel notes, those doesn't really seem NES tracks; they sound great! Good job on working with the full soundtrack, your ports are always nice to hear.
Wow that use of FM sounds amazing! It must be really tough to create an accurate port of such dynamic synthesis techniques.

Hell yeah! Surprised to know this all comes from the NES. Not to mention the more complex the songs are, the hardest to port them accurately, and you did an on point job. Very impressive!
Excellent ports. It's kinda surreal to me that they came from NES games. Can't wait to see the full soundtracks. Keep up with this amazing stuff. #smrpg{:3}

Never heard the original tracks so I can't say much about accuracy, but what you got so far sounds very good, great job #smw{:TUP:} and good luck completing this project!
Thanks for the feed everyone! Will do my best to finish it. #w{=3}
hi it's me the resident vrc7 stan

These sound fantastic so far! Really digging how clean the samples sound - thoughts on releasing the default VRC7 patches on the BRR section when this is done with?

My favorite in this group so far is Wandering Journey, though Lagrange Point has a phenomenal soundtrack for such a basic FM chip.
Heavily thinking about it. Although they're very HQ, most of them are either limited on pitches, or in a very MASSIVE size inside ARAM.

I will probably have to optimize them after I finish the OST to make them compatible with things.
I've never heard of Lagrange Point before, but it certainly seems to have a neat soundtrack, as demonstrated through these excellent ports! It does sound so far like you've succeeded in making the samples high quality, because that's literally how I'd describe them.

It'll be really cool to hear the rest of the soundtrack when you're done with it!
What is a Lunar Magic, and can I eat it?
My meme brain turned Find Stolte into Flinstones. So close... but these tracks sound nice, amazing stuff!
I'm not familiar with this game and if anything the name reminds me of the uni work I need to do, ugh and I'm surprised to find it's a NES game. The tracks fit quite nicely with the samples you're using.

Pretty solid ports overall. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future #smrpg{haha}
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?

Sounds like vaporwave music.

I don't know that it's the best music shared here, but it's certainly the most A E S T H E T I C. #tb{^V^}

damn, that's a surprising amount of people who don't know about the fact the VRC7 is a thing, smh #wario{>:|} #wario{>:|} #wario{>:|}

Anyway, Lagrange Point is always a soundtrack that I always knew about but never tried to listen to it, and personally, even if the VRC7 is based around a much more limited FM synth chip than something the Sega Genesis would have (IIRC it's based around the YM2413, which was used in some Master System games I think), my own experience with sampling FM sounds tell me that shit wasn't easy despite it not being as powerful or high-end as other FM chips, so good job lmao

Incredible work you have here. Also, it was very interesting to know the real limits you could do with NES' engine. Any less suspecting people wouldn't ever imagine that these music would come from a 8-bit console. Nice.

Dream team (feed them, please):

Agreed. I mean, assuming that this game never was released outside of japan, its normal people don't know its existance.
