I just used the Boo Ring with the new PIXI, but it just mentions something about MeiMei when I insert the files without tampering around with it

How do I get over this?
Is there an ASM patch that has the power-up hit like SMB3's and SMA2's? To explain, if Mario is hit in his fire form, he progresses backward to his super variety and not his small one. I think I saw it one hack.

Does anyone have the old version of fire bro and Ice bro that are compatible with PIXI sprite tool? Because I have problems with the sonikku's versions especially with graphics. They work perfectly, but I have problems inserting some other sprites when using them.

While I've haven't (yet!) made a ROM hack myself, I've been playing hacks and watching Barb, Dode, Ldad, Panga and others on Twitch for a few years now. I have an idea for a machine learning project to use neural networks to build SMW levels (think randomly generated levels). I would like to use levels hosted here as input data.

I would like to learn enough ASM to do the following:

* download a patch
* read the patch (into Lunar Magic? into a text editor? not sure here.)
* map each tile of a level to a number (or possibly character). For example ground = 1, air = 2, block = 3, Goomba = 4... etc.
* encode a level as a rectangular array of said numbers
* write that array to a csv file (just a comma separated values file, or text file where the values are separated by commas)

All the tutorials I can find here are directed to people wanting to make their own hacks (for good reason, of course!), but if anyone could recommend a resource that can help me learn just enough ASM to make some functions to encode the tiles, to read in the patch, to write to csv, then I would be terrifically grateful!

I have done work in Python, Java, Javascript, and R, for whatever that's worth. :)
quick question : is there (or would anyone happen to have)  a version of the invisible coin block that can be hit w/ carryable sprites just like a regular coin block  ? if not, could such a resource be created easily enough with blockreator ?

the context for this is that i'm building a level section with a block snake, and i need blocks that it won't eat unless they've been hit, but mario should hit them w/ a carryable sprite instead of a jump.

I don't think there is one but it should be easy enough to make with blockreator.

I'm not exactly sure if this meets your specifications but I believe that this is what you're looking for.
I want to use the giant koopa boss (not dahnamics and hammer bro's giant masked koopa boss) that can have various abilities depending on it's color, but I can't find it. Does anyone have this sprite?
