It is very important (for me) that the item keeps its functionality (jumping off the springboard) and that you can run on it without grabbing it (e.g. on a key).

[My specific requirement: When I throw one of these on the block, I want it to become non-carryable, keep the function as a pipe,
and I want Mario to be able to run on it (without grabbing it).]

Doesn't seem to be possible with just blocks, you'd need to modify sprites and add some sort of flag for them to disable them being able to be carried, which sounds like it's more effort than it's worth it.

Tahixham has already done a Cooligan enemy for his hack, but he said that these sprites from the GIFs in the last post are ones he have coded for the hack, but you can't, unless someone else has made a public one.

Why can't you try Sonikku's Galoomba/Goombud v0.2, it looks a little the same as your description. Give it a try.
I only want that to be conpatible with goomba flip patch and use SP0 and SP1.I just want to use one tile for the walking animation.
