This time I tried to make a serious thing - 32x32 boss for use in future project.
To implement such a grandiose plan I did lots of modifications to Giant Ninji sprite by RussianMan, so credit goes to him as well.

This is not the final version of boss, project it's intended for has not been started yet, comments, ideas and feedback are welcome!
Yours sincerely,

Trying to decide between a normal palette and a silhouette level, thoughts?

How can I improve the way the silhouette stage looks? This is my first attempt at making one.
your simplistic human mind cannot possibly comprehend the complexities of my thoughts
I haven't really messed with OWs for a while now, and I just noticed this is the first time I've actually made two decent-looking maps (?)

Thoughts?

The daylight palette is kind of bland, so it'd be great if you could pull off the silhouette idea! It's essential for those that you can still tell what everthing is, especially background from foreground. You'll probably want to make your sky color a lot brighter so it never blends in with the ground. It's also a good idea to give objects and sprites (and maybe the player) slightly different colors, too - no one says the silhouettes have to be pure black!

They really are looking nice! I like the fact that you're experimenting with shading on the cliffs, and if you do that to all cliffs consistently that's gonna look beautiful. Nice overall shapes, too! The only thing I'm not that fond of is having the world name at the bottom (or any other fixed text really; it just seems unnecessary) - if you think of some more interesting names it could work, though.

Here's the world 1 submap that did.

Here it is.

Tell me what you guys think.

The first is Ailead on a small island?

Second, I think it's an ice sheet aleid on the top and there's a light on the bottom.

If I look closely at the screenshot, it means the old world of Aliyd. It's amazing. It's good to make decisions and decide.

All I can do is trust you.#w{=D}
I love you! I'm a girl.

As it snows, the atmosphere is very unstable and lightning keeps hitting me. ㅠㅠ

I like the cartoon character of the girl the most.

This place will update photos every month.
Hi, how are you?

It's a screenshot from another boss battle test, and I've done it before.

I wanted to get 10 stars here, but it's not easy for a star to find because it's hard for me to break the stage for my first play.

It's very, very amazing, but it looks so amazing.#w{<3}

It's from this copyright and the producer, and try to find the Super Mario 64 hack and play it. It's going to be fun.#w{=D}

It seems that your post would fit better over in Project Showoff since this is for SM64 and not SMW.
I do have some progress on my hack, but before I get there, I would also like to show something in progress. Look at the screen below:

Based on that screen along, I decided to make a layer 3 BG based on it. It's not perfect, but bettet than nothing. Here:

I aimed for an organ/intestinal look. Here's layer 2 as well:

This does resemble something that comes from Abadox for NES. Uses only 8 colors from palette 4. I also have a plan for layer 1. I couldn't post it on the GFX forum, since there isn't much attention there.
Feedback is appreciated and here's the hack in progress:

The beginning. This uses my newly made GFX.

Careful Mario! Plants!

Pressing Down might help.

The start of the next level.
Feedback is appreciated here as well.
So, I've been working on another hack for a bit, and today I finally ended up recording a couple levels from it and figured I'd share them here too. Of course, open for constrictive criticism!

Hi, I am back to working my SMW hack after 3 months ago to pause this working SMW hack during finish the KLDC level
I have been made a custom waterfall and cliffs background layer 2, that really good quality

I would like to know where to download those water tiles, I am interested in using them for a hack that I am doing.
Wow, you managed to find a screenshot from 6 years ago in this thread. Congrats!

In all seriousness, I'd ask the author of the screenshots for these graphics. Since he's inactive, your best bet would be using Discord. If he doesn't seem to be active, maybe try to get contact on Steam. If neither of these works, try at any other time.

Kind of late, but those water tiles are from Yoshi's Island.
This set might contain them.
@Misterfan2000: I didn't realize there was also this thread. You could've got the answer more quickly than this.

Now that your question was answered, feel free to post in the thread I mentioned for the next time if you want some resource.

A new decade, a new level from me?

This is what I assume will be the first level in my hack. I actually took this from a similar SMM2 level I made and reimagined it a bit without any patches or what not. I'm going to be designing the levels and adding in all this other stuff as I go on so I won't get overwhelmed with having to add in the stuff as I make levels.
