I really like the OW's graphics and the grass tileset + the DKC3 BG, the hammer bro's graphics looks nice too, looking forward.

Thanks the grassland graphics and overworld graphics are drawn by me i am planning on drawing a few tilesets for the hack and am also planning on replacing the left overs of katrinas overworld tiles as i originally used those graphicd before the ones i drew in screenshot one

Please be patient - it's only been a couple of days. Try showing some more progress, too. As a general rule, if people haven't got anything to say it's not necessarily a bad thing.
Looks really good so far, looking forward to a demo.

Make sure you get a tester for the ASM though, ZSNES is pretty shit for testing ASM and you said you can't run ZMZ? Not sure if you can run SNES9x 1.60 at the very least but.

so i recently made a new overworld however i need your opinions on this i have 2 pics of the overworld

1 is the usual everyday overworld

and this one is a tresure map ish overworld

note that the second is just an example the ow will be adjusted to not look like crap

it's fine.

A custom world map is always a delight but the pixel art feels a bit pillow shade-y at parts (like the rocks in the OW). Maybe it's just my bad non-pixel experienced eyesight, but make sure you set a proper light source to the graphics. Frontal is okay but make sure it stays consistent to the sprite and properly bends to the shape of the surface. The castle and fort in the map also feel a bit flat?

But overlooking the small issues, overall it has a distinctly Brazilian vibe to it which gives it its own flair. A lot of inspiration from the Drama Mistery series, I can tell.

Keep it up!!! I want to play this!

Also "Begin's" is spelt Begins.

Koopa-esque protag, arrow as the OW cursor, the thought of making a treasure map styled overworld, casual clashing... None of these are bad btw, don't feel bad about having them. Some people might have a problem with the high amounts of clashing but I find it charming.

Now i literally feel like i am ripping of dm because of the amount of simalarities my hack has to dm im not sure if its too much inspiration also dm was my favorite hack as the way it used its graphics gave the vibe of a flash game (i think) now i am kinda scared that people are gonna get mad at me as my hack as to many simulariteis i only had the ow arrow because i have 2 protagoni- well crap... and also what is Koopa-esque protag?

The Hammer Bro. Also it's okay, trust me. No one will be upset. If anyone does, just ignore them. You can list Grate under "Special Thanks" or "Inspiration" if you want but it's not necessary.

I think the titlescreen is too muted on the letters and gem. I would suggest brightening up the two bc they are the focus for what the premise of your hack is all about.

As for the gem, i would suggest you look at these takes of the Master Emerald for how you should shade your Gem -

My hack isn't really gonna have that many vibrant colors as i am going for a muted ish non vibrant hack unless thats a bad idea though i will remake the gem on the title screen though

well im back and here is what is going on so far

i decided that i would try to take some more time on fixing most of the aesthetics of the hack which will take a lot of time as it pretty much broke some of the other levels HOWEVER i will be releasing a one level demo to give you guys a glimpse of what i have so far also here are some screenshots :D

Looks like a really cool and interesting hack. I'll keep an eye on this.
I love those grassy ruins graphics and the entire grassland set, especially that hyper-realistic tree and the cloud cover. I think the DKC backgrounds actually work fine with those, but I can't help but think that the DKC foregrounds probably don't suit the style of the rest of the hack, in particular the cave stuff. I assume you are planning on making the layer 3 grass a little more defined to suit the other graphics, yes? I do think the bottom of the grass on the slope could stand to be a little leafier like the rest of thr ground, but again, most of the stuff here looks really well-done otherwise.

The overworld layout is very nice too, and I really like the cliff textures, but I am finding it is easy to tell where on the grass is just a box when the textured grass is surrounding it, particularly when the dense bush texture is next to a plain tile. I think that could be mitigated using the sparsely-detailed leafy grass next to plain tiles, but a palette tweak may also work since the brown version you have below shows the suddenness of the transition is far more subdued. I like the colors as are, so maybe try more grass textures. It's not bad looking, it's just that when a texture isn't seamless, it sticks out to me. The castle looks like a cartoon fantasy thing with how plump it appears - major style points there. I also like the dark and subtle noise to texture the water.

About the new sprites, those Koopa replacements look like shady fellows, almost like thieves! Since the protagonist is a Hammer Brother, you definitely don't want to be fighting your turtle brethren. Those new guys definitely look the part of the bad guy.

Is Hammer Bro going to throw hammers or is he going to have access to other powers, such as doubling as a Fire Bro to give him more range?

Finally, how on earth do you manage to do and keep track of three completely different hacks at once? Are you a man or a machine? inb4 fish
