Coffee & Caffeine Lovers

So, coffee. I need some every day, and so does everyone else I know.

How many of you here are coffee lovers? Do you like black coffee, fancy, Starbucks-grade coffee, cold-brew coffee, etc.?

I like coffee that is strong, black, and full of caffeine. I used to buy Death Wish Coffee for that extra kick in the morning, but, even for someone like me, that was a bit more potent than I was expecting.

On the subject of caffeine itself, what do you think about other high-caffeine products, like energy drinks/shots, caffeine pills, etc.?
I like coffee, but I usually do not have it. If I do have it, I have non-flavored super duper mega ultra strong coffee with no cream, no milk, no sugar. I will not add anything to my coffee.

Regarding specialty drinks, I have never really paid much attention to them. I do like high-caffeine shots though.
I usually drink at least two coffees a day, sometimes only one. Today was only one because I forgot about it.

I usually drink espresso or coffee with milk, sometimes cappuccino (though my mother replaces the powdered chocolate with cinnamon so it's not a real cappuccino).

It helps me wake up.

When it comes to coffee, I'm an avid fan of it. I usually tend to drink 3 to 4 cups of coffee each day- sometimes more in certain cases. But I have been working on reducing the amount of coffee I take in per day since the extra caffeine has been causing problems lately; I now try to have at most 2 cups of coffee during the morning time to make sure I sleep well in the night. As for how I like my coffee, I usually tend to go for medium-strength coffee with sugar and coffee creamer added in.

As for caffeine-based products, I've only tried coffee. I do know about the existence of caffeine-packed energy drinks and caffeine pills, but I tend to avoid them since they're usually caked with sugar and have questionable health claims. As for coffee grain brands, I've always stuck to Great Value Medium-Roast grind since it has a pretty nice taste and isn't too overpowering. I also like the coffee from the Starbucks and Panera Bread restaurants. But I don't like the coffee served from Dunkin' Donuts since it's always served very hot and tastes mostly like water.
coffee tastes like shit
im also in the coffee hater squad - but only as a drink; i think mild coffee flavor goes really nicely in desserts and some savory applications too..though thats not really the question at hand lol. not that drinking coffee would be beneficial for me anyway, caffeine does nothing except make me an insomniac, zero actual energy boost. though i'd just drink energy drinks instead if it did help

Haven't enjoyed any coffee in a long time.

I mostly have enjoyed soda throughout the years. For a year I even kicked caffeine all together. Became less anxious and all. However, somehow for some weird reason I gained more weight than when I was drinking. So then went back and suddenly I am losing again.

Bodies are dumb. (something something, making your blood pump more or something?)

instant coffee, 2 spoons
half water, half milk
2 thingies of hazelnut creamer
this is almost every morning
i'll add sugar if its too gross (i hate black)

if at starbucks, ill get caramel frappuccino, or caramel latte, depends on whether i want cold or hot thing

actually caffeine does nothing for me; i just drink it to try and fit in with society

I think many sodas actually have caffeine in them. Then again, you could have not had any soda with caffeine in it.

Also, I think that many sodas have very high sugar levels of around 55 grams, which I think is about 6 teaspoons of sugar. If you only put one or two teaspoons of sugar in your coffee, then you would only have about 18 grams of sugar in your coffee.

I don't want to go off tangent, so please just don't mind me and carry on!
I barely have coffee. I don't dislike it, but I just never really have the opportunity to. Every time coffee is made, it's usually when I'm sleeping.

Soda, on the other hand, hoo boy. I enjoy having some. I tend to have one can per day, and that can tends to be during dinner time. I don't see myself ever kicking soda to the wayside however.

STELLA!
I used to drink coffee on a daily basis. When I was studying college I needed it to stay awake during classes.

Now I'm more of a tea person, but I still enjoy coffee occasionally, especially when I'm with friends.
I honestly can't stand coffee something about it just smells rotten to me but I do enjoy tea from time to time but I mainly just have an energy drink. My go to brand is Bang, zero sugar but high caffeine content.
It's terrible for me I know but they have a wide range of flavors and personally it's so much better than coffee.
coffee is essential to my day. i am british and do not like tea, so your stereotypes are wrong about us.

I should try to find my coffee maker one of these days. Can't even remember where I put that machine. Let alone all the coffees I used to have. Probably need to reorder some.

hand over all of your coffee and nobody gets hurt

I really love me some coffee! I used to have three cups in a day but I eventually toned it down to just two or one.
Fortune has smiled upon me, because I have been consuming vast quantities of caffeine for a very long time, yet I do not experience withdrawal when I choose not to. However, it has contributed mightily to poor sleeping habits that have probably shorted my lifespan by a few thousand minutes.

I drink energy beverages just for the jolt, but I actually quite enjoy coffee, and ever since I started cold brewing, I have not often gone back to hot brewing. I love the smell and the flavor (though I do doctor it up with half-and-half and Equal, because I definitely do not prefer it unsweetened, and black coffee is thin and watery).
GANYMEDE

Chapter Two: Land of No Shame
Tbh, I have been drinking coffee by quite a bit nowadays, but mainly because I haven't really been sleeping very well (and oddly enough, isn't even related to the caffeine in itself); I mainly drink some good old fashioned "café com leite" (coffee with milk) so that I can dull out the effects of the caffeine enough, but it isn't really all that tasty, so when I want something that tastes better I instead have some "chá mate" instead, mainly from this brand right here that we have on Brazil; it's surprisingly good to drink in comparison to coffee lol

Cold-brew coffee, especially when it's home-made, is my favourite way to drink coffee.

I have a French Press that I use to make all of my coffee (I like that it lets me "steep" the coffee for as long as I want), and I usually make cold-brew coffee by mixing ground coffee with cold water and putting the whole press in the fridge for ~12 hours or so.

I never add anything to my coffee. The stronger and more bitter the coffee, the more I like it.
I love coffee, I usually make a big cup in the morning with one of those fun little cones you put on top of your cup, super easy to clean and makes perfectly reasonable coffee. I used to do cold-brew sometimes and I might get back into it at some point but straining the grounds was always sort of a pain in the ass so I wasn't as into it.

I tried coffee a few times and just hated it. Coffee crisp is good though. But if I need some caffeine I just have an energy drink.
